Well that depends on how you "use" them. If you try to smoke poison ivy, it would cause harm, or even death. I am sure poison ivy can be used a different way for different reasons.

Stinging nettles are actually fairly safe for consumption if you agitate them enough beforehand and break down the noxious compounds.

Anthrax occurs in nature and if used in it concentrated form, will kill you. Food, even pure water will kill you.

I am agnostic myself, and I read the bible and Karan and other religious "books" and take things from them that I need to use in my own life. I dont take them word from word.

I think you guys are taking this a bit to literally, he is talking about MJ. Don't see what that has to do about poison, especially since this is a MJ fourm. Everything in life is a choice, and don't you think that's what that so called big man in the sky gave us to "use"?

Plants were around before humans, so it's impossible to say that God gave you Marijuana, Sure, it probably serves another purpose here on earth (I have no idea what that is). But what if it is suppose to be used for the hemp, instead of the buds? And we just so happened to set it on fire, and tripped

No, Atheist means no belief in a higher power/ god/ gods/ goddess/ godesses/ etc.
Agnostic is usually used to mean " I believe in some kind of higher power, just not sure it's the one listed in this book"

But on to the OP- this is the 'MJ is natural therefore it is good" argument. Buzzby is right- just cos it's natural doesn't mean it's good. Crude oil is natural, betcha it's no good to drink. Cancer is natural! Uranium238 is natural, try storing some in your home. Just cos something exsists don't mean that some power made it for humans benefit. It'd be nice, but a little self-centered to think everything is about us all the time, according to the universe.

But personally I bet the poker don't stay red-hot for long, given the cooling / heatsync effect of buttcheeks, blood, and whatnot.
