|  Another correction: Are you talking about years when presidents were FIRST elected? Because FDR was first elected in 1932, not 1940.

| Just follow the link I posted....it talks about all of it and more. Actually examines each point. The site that it's on is pretty fun. I like seeing urban legends debunked. It appeals to the skeptic in me.

| Warining I would be very careful discussing your opinions about something bad happening to our President. Though you have a right to your opinion, I think that National Security does bend your first amendment rights. No, I am not encouraging or defending anything... |  Ho hum I'm not even sure how this goes, but a friend of mine wrote a story about how bush gets assassinated, then the vice president gets topped off, and somehow , down then line, we get our first black president this way. I admit I am ignorant as to how this works, but I know it is possible somehow (through the line of procession to the presidency) |
