And now, for everyone's FRIDAY AMUSEMENT I present the updated lament by Cassius (changes made to increase accurracy):

It's almost as if a lot of people (that I don't know) today could care less if they have any solid stances on anything, as long as they have groups to fit into. I think the problem stems from the fact that people (who I don't know) look for groups first, and define their beliefs second, based on which groups they happened to join. Am I the only one that thinks beliefs should be defined by you, by your inner core, and that you should only look for groups to associate with after you know what you stand for?

It may be that I'm the only one who had a good laugh at this post the first time I saw it. There is a possibility that the rest of you are a bunch of grumpy crumudgeons who can't hear the violin playing in the background as the vague lament rambles along.

C'mon man, that post was funny. It starts off with the very tragic "What saddens me is that, for my entire life. . ."! Whoa! This is no small problem, this has been plaguing young Cassius for his ENTIRE LIFE. The instant he popped out of the womb he was beholden to this travesty and it saddened him!!! Not one day has passed that his heart was not made heavy by this! What a long and trying existence it has been for him!

I don't know man, if you can't see the funny in it I guess we just have different senses of humor. Somebody else had to be laughing when they read that.
