Default A lesson in how NOT to fool the cops

LINCOLN, Neb. A California man posing as a Department of Homeland Security employee was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after 540 pounds of pot were found in the U-Haul trailer he was pulling on Interstate 80.

A State Patrol trooper stopped an eastbound Ford Expedition for following too close near the Waverly interchange yesterday (Tuesday).

The driver, 32-year-old Gary Ward of Lakewood, California, was wearing a Drug Enforcement Agency hat and displayed an Immigration and Naturalization Service portfolio. He told the trooper he was working for the Department of Homeland Security.

The Patrol said Ward and his passenger gave conflicting stories regarding their travel itinerary and relationship.

A drug-sniffing dog was brought to the scene and indicated an odor of drugs in the trailer.

Ward and his passenger, 24-year-old Skoha Keo of Long Beach, California, were being held in the Lancaster County Jail.

ALWAYS mix agencies.......wear a DEA hat, carry an INS portfolio and claim to work for DHS. That'll work.

Better yet, learn how to f&^*in drive. Every time somebody gets caught like this its because they drive like somebody expecting to get caught.

First, never said I was "proud" of anything. Didn't even give them an attaboy.

Second, how in the hell is bringing a dog to the scene "raping the constitution". Those actions follow the courts interpretation of the Constitution datng back to BEFORE the prohibition of marijuana.

You have your little roll eyes and all to say that the "criminals" are stupid, however you fail to mention the stupidity and immorality of the police. Anyone who supports and enforces the raping of the constitution is a seriously disturbed and misguided individual. It doesn't take a genius to interpret this…

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I DO think that this guy was stupid.

however you fail to mention the stupidity and immorality of the police.

Please point out any "stupidity" in the article on the part of the police.

Again, this time while personally attacking me, you make the same claim, yet fail to support it in any manner. Well, I GUESS someone that was mentally challanged might be swayed by the simple repetition.

How about you try this......actually SUPPORT your statement and see if you can do it without repeating the same exact phrase again. That might be fun.

IMHO, the act of "searching" the air surrounding one's personal vehicle is not, in and of itself, unreasonable.

How is it any different from opening the door and searching the insides of the vehicle? It's called a constitutional loophole and it's despicable that people support it.

Enforcement of the rape of the constitution is blatant stupidity.

Oh no, not the words "personal attack", coming from NS, how surprising! How didn't I support my argument? I supported my claim, it's right there in the fourth amendment for you to read. And what exactly did I say that you see as being repetitive? I would love to hear an answer to that.

Now who’s being repetitive? Gee, you just have to love the double standard being worked to its fullest.
