One thing that was used as "evidence" in the other thread on this topic was that White House spokesman Scott McClellan didn't really deny the journalist was targeted.

I'd say that is a pretty clear denial and that should clear up the claim that the White House isn't denying it.


The other point in that original thread that needs addressed was the theory put forth "Government conspiracy to intimidate and/or anihilate journalists?"

Even the journalist involved isn't claiming it had anything to do with what she has (or will) write. She is stating she thinks it is because the US disagrees with paying ransoms.


So we know the answer to that question is a big, fat NO.

I think you failed to properly read the first post, since no one ever claimed Scott McClellan failed to deny the journalist was targetted. It was mentioned that he never said the journalist ran through a checkpoint.

Furthermore the post ended with several possibilities for the described events, and zero theories. As usual you wandered in there like an attack dog because you dislike my politics, an flamed the thread until we were both lectured by a moderator and made an example of.

So . . . I'm going to leave you talking to yourself in this one. I would just ask that when others exercise caution when reading this thread. Go take a look at the original before buying anyone's interpretation of what was said. This post has already begun by making false claims about the last one.
