You know, I always suspected that this sort of thing went on.
Is it immoral? I don't know, but I don't like it.
We are misleading the Iraqis. We claim it's for their own good.

Of course it's immoral. It's ridiculous. The "for their own good" is like saying "we should burn all books so people don't gain 'forbidden knowledge'...besides, it's for their own good."

Why should this come as a suprise? A few months ago I posted an article detailing how the Bush Administration was producing fake news segments and they were being passed off as objective news instead of propoganda.

Propaganda has been used in wars since the beginning, and I don't see how it should come as a suprise that it's being used now.

It's no surprise, Murdock, I suspected it from the beginning. This was just the first time I had heard about it in the news.

HL you make a good point when you compare it to book-burning. The Iraqi people should have the right to know about anything that happens in their country.
