Well isnt being a acutal 'republican" means the goverment stays out of our lives? Wouldnt giving money to corperations pretty much be the goverment messing with peoples lives or corperations (since they are now classified as people )?
Too many people think (well around where i live) liberal=evil,if it wasnt for liberals we would still have universal segregation,no unions,no welfare,children working at mills like you said and i could go on and on.

Well, thats why i vote liberal. here's the real truth--ALL politicians are run by business--theyre driven by money, they need millions a year just to exist, so they ALL peddle it. As many republicans get their ---s ----ed by interns as Demos, take that to the bank.Tobaco owns most of both sides, so does oil, so does the Israeli lobby and many others.
So they all pretty much do everyhing.
Its just that the republicans--esp the conservatives--and its time to start differentiating between the 2,as liberals and democrats are differentiated-- are the most sanctimonious fingerpointing hypocrites about it. there is a continuous, well financed conservative assault on liberals and it never ends.And theyre lame about it, too--they spent $44million over 8 years trying to nail Clinton and the only thing they did was put away Susan McDougal away for 16 months--they call this good governance but they looked like a bunch of perverts pawing and gloating over semen stained dresses--Whatever dignity Congress had left was certainly gone after that
but whats really hypocritical is the way they benefit from what the liberals have accomplished--hey conservatives--do you give back yr free medical coverage or overtime pay over 40 hrs--theyre all liberal notions--have yr wives and girlfriends ever gotten an abortion? or birth control? thank a liberal and for the fact that they can vote too--if you think thats good.
i can not understand how any minority or women could vote conservative--they mostly don't--there's nothing in it for them and conservatives have consistently fought EVERY single expansion of rights--except gun rights. I mean they even fought child labor laws!! On the basis of FAMILY VALUES!!! (same as slavery)
every single right and benefit employees get in this country was pushed across by liberals against determined conservative resistance--theyre still fighting it--and trying to rewrite history about it too.
