I want to know what your talking about. I really, really do. But I don't.

It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then?"

Sorry, can't do it.
There's nothing there but dirt and starving people. NOW IF there was some oil we might be able to LIBERATE the people from the despotic tyranny of some sort of Sudanese dictator who has inspirations of world conquest.

There's actually a LOT of oil in Sudan. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, the French and Chinese have some oil holdings in Sudan.

Welp, I guess that blows apart some of the "oil harvesting" theories about Sudan - what else ya'll got?

Smile Happy!

Come'r and give Deddy a hug and a big sloppy smooch!
How they hanging old bud? PM me or something.

We are in Iraq, spending billion's every day,and these poor people starve to death every day. Niteshift is right, there are million's in aid being spent every day, but for every story that you show me about the money spent,I'll show you the one about the doctor who spent her own money to buy medical supplies and came back to try and help. Free. Her own money.

Darfur start's as a village uprising and is turned into government condoned
genocide. The U.N. is overwhelmned by the refugees fleeing the genocide across the western border's into camp's.

Good question Happy. Why doesn't a European country send in troop's? Wouldn't it be easier to declare the U.N. basically useless and send all that money and troop's in there? Hell,we might get the U.S. to send a few troop's in there since we're in the U.N.

No,wait,we have the new Army now,the new rental Army. Just pick the country you want blown up,slip us about three quarter's of your money, we'll build a huge military base on your land, and blow the crap outa whoever you want. Just good business, folk's.
Besides that, these weapon's development boy's need some fresh bullet testing fodder for all these cool weapon's of mass destruction they've come up with. Hell's far folk's,can't shoot that depleted uranium shell over here in the good old USA, Iraq's already a wasteland so it's perfect for it.

I think that the only way we will survive and flourish as a race is when we realize that everybody rides on the bus man,or nobody rides. We all have to help each other. :spark:

So when theres a country or organization of some sort that doesn't respond to reason (likeone containing people who will gladly die in an effort to kill someone regardless what they say to try and stop them) we should just give them the peace sign and hope they don't attack us? I'm all for peace, but how do you reason with the people that can't be reasoned with? If a guy comes into your house and tries to kill you, do you try and reason with him or do you do whatever necessary to protect your own?
