| Police Chief Wants Surveillance Cameras In Houston Apartments POSTED: 5:28 pm CST February 15, 2006 UPDATED: 8:57 am CST February 16, 2006 HOUSTON -- Houston's police chief is suggesting putting surveillance cameras in apartment complexes, downtown streets and even private homes. Chief Harold Hurtt Wednesday said it's another way of combating crime amid a shortage of officers. "Think of the value that adds to the case when in court … to be able to present video of the suspect with a gun in his or her hand," Hurtt said. Houston is dealing with too many police retirements, too few recruits and a population increase of about 150-thousand hurricane refugees. http://www.click2houston.com/news/7092489/detail.html So what say you, Marijuana.com..? How would you like a Police Surveillance camera watching you 24/7/365 in your private home? |
