Default Autopsy for al-Zarqawi?

Clearly we are all glad that he is dead. I trust I can speak for all of us when I say that. I do find it comical though that he had an autopsy to determine his cause of death. We drop two gigantic ass bombs on his hideout and find him inside dead with all his friends. Maybe he had cancer? Maybe the cancer got him?? Good thing he had an autopsy. It found massive internal injuries to his lungs from the blast waves.

Pakistanis on Orkut are running wild with the theory that Zarqaqi surivived the explosions but was killed by U.S. special forces to prevent it becoming known that he secretly worked for the Bush family.

We got Hussein in a hole in the ground and we can't find bin Laden moving through the mountains??? What's the problem? We kill Zarqawi because we didn't want the public to find out that he worked for Bush, but why can't Bush's other colleague, Osama bin Laden, be found?

Obviously no one wants to believe that our government is in cahoots with these little devils. I saw the movie Loose Change. It was striking I admit, but it has a lot of criticism too. All I'm saying is that my default position is that we are NOT colleagues with Bin Laden or anyone in Al-Queda, until an overwhelming body of evidence tells me otherwise. If there's evidence out there that I am unaware of besides rumors, I am waiting with open ears. Trust me, I am not pro-Bush, but I just like to see things objectively, and the claims that he is in partnership with such evil is pure gossip to me at this point.
I wish we'd have Bin Laden by now too, but you have to give the guy credit, he knows how to hide. Maybe Bush is saving his capture until next year closer to elections, to ignite the Republican base. Zarqawi was just an hors d'oeuvre.

Take a look at this piece of conspiracy theory. While I agree that there is no solid evidence to prove that Bush and Bin Laden are colleagues, there is plenty to prove that their families are. It is no secret that the oil interests of these families tie together. It is also no secret that Osama used to be 'employed' by the US Government. We funded him and his country(Afghanistan), and also supplied them with OUR weapons and technology during their war with Russia.

The point I'm trying to get at is that there is too much history between the two families to just dismiss the current issues at hand as something non-personal. My guess(and that's all any of us have at this point--you don't really believe what they're telling you, do you?) is that someone was about to make a move to take some sort of power or wealth from the Bush's and GW didn't take too kindly to it. He saw this as a perfect opportunity to get him and his friends/VP rich, while at the same time 'fighting the good fight' against 'the evildoers'.

The problem is that we are not actually after Osama. If we 'caught' him, it would effectively end the war...in my mind, at least. The whole reason we started warring was to go after him. Then all of a sudden there's a deck of cards with 50 some-odd other people we were now going after. We knocked a few of them off and all of a sudden we are at war with another country. And before that war was even over(as if it's over even now), we started talk of warring with another country, and another...and another. We(read: The Executive Branch) seem to have forgotten what the primary objective is/was. Much like the drug war, this 'War on Terror' is impossible to successfully win.

And why the population isn't up in arms over this is beyond me. What I've seen from this administration is a lot of talking. It's as if they can say anything they want and never follow through. They bring fire to everything they touch and when it turns to shit(which it usually does) they bring fire to something else. They are masters of evasion and are, in fact, above the law. Everyone's pissed because the NSA is spying on each and every single one of us so they turn attention to immigration. Notice how the phone tapping has dropped from the headlines? It may still be front page news, but not for long. How worried about the tapping have you been since the first two or three days it was in the headlines? You've(not singling anyone out) probably thought more about immigration and Karl Rove than the spying. And as soon as someone says, "Hey, you guys can't do that, it's illegal", a new law is created to make it legal...or better yet, they use the Patriot Act as justification. It's funny how almost 250 years of law was overridden/overwritten by one single dunce who's best talent is rebirth. He did it better than anyone I've seen. I mean, if he is truly reborn, then we're taking direction from a 21 year old...think about it.

Here is another decent read.

In closing, I don't believe that this war is about anything but increasing the wealth, ensuring survival, and maintaining power for current and future generations of The Great American Family--The Bush Family.

I've yet to see anything concrete or even halfway convincing relating to this being personal and only for personal financial gain. At least you had the decency to call it a guess.....there are people out there swearing it is fact, without any basis whatsoever. I guess I don't understand how going after the mastermind of 9/11 means that its all about financial gains for GW and Co. I guess I'm just tried of wild speculation all the way around. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an all-around Bush supporter, and becoming less so every day. However, I see no reason for wild conjecture when there isn't enough basis to come to a reasonable conclusion at this point, IMO.

Quite frankly, I just stopped giving a shit. I also won't be voting in the next election, the last election ruined it for me. Why? Because how do I know who controls the election, for all I know the person going to be elected could already be pre-determined. Either way, I lost faith in the system and will no longer participate.

I can definitely see where you are coming from, having not voted myself for several years now. However, I'm going the opposite route as you are. I'm actually going to start giving a shit, and voting, and letting my views be known. It may not work, for the very reasons you stated, but at least I can say i did my part. Its too easy to sit on the sidelines and say " well, at least I didn't vote for that guy" when you should be saying "Don't blame me....I did everything I could do to elect a competent candidate". Not to mention, medical marijuana has finally made it to the SD ballot this Nov, so i HAVE to go to the polls for that. I'll have to wait and see about the Presidential election....if I'm forced to pick between a giant douche and a turd sandwhich (which i s how I felt about the LAST election) I may very well decline to vote. i want to vote for someone who agrees with my values, and won't vote for someone who simply disagrees less with them.

needless to say.....i guess i don't know WHAT I'll do
