Well there's only one solution for this. Suspend the 2008 election and invade Syria. Screw it. Let's just take over the whole middle east. Our military won't mind. The global war on terror is officially never ending...

WMD's being in Syria that were shipped from Iraq? Anything is possible. This is an old theory that has been passed around in intelligence circles since the start of the war.

Of course it's possible, and Fox may be guilty of running it in the ground, so to speak, but there is a chance that this did happen.....

The important thing to remember is, why were we, the United States, so sure he hadn't turned over all of the WMD's that he had?

Maybe because we sold it to him......

Anybody see the BA's press release regarding the WMDs in Iraq being "found"? They totalled up all the out of date chemical and biological SHELLS (as in: to be used on the field against personnel) and presented them as "WMDs FOUND IN IRAQ" --heels-a'clicking and fingers-a'waving!

When I learnt of this I laughed for 3 weeks and a day, and absconded from the care of my personal hygiene and nutrition to appeciate it the more.

Naturally Fox was the only paper to run with the story, vindicating my judgement.

As to the OP: as far as I can see the secular Baathists aint been too popular with Islamism. There was that little war with the empire across the border who's name I forget...

This is the same reason I considered the entirity of the WMD claim to be absurd. The phrase "you and who's army?" was never better fitting than when regarding the claim that Saddam was about to incinerate Western Europe and America.

The mission isn't complete in Afghanistan as Osama is still on the loose and he really needs to be brought to justice. The Taliban sided with Osama and they got their butts whipped for it. Dead or Alive...something needs to be done about Osama.

Osama being dead will only slightly slow down al qaeda and wont make as big a difference as people hope for. Something new should be tried but not invading another country lol. As for Iraq, we just need to get out now! Iraq is just a complete stupid war that has lliterally no point whatsoever and was misleaded into. I would very much prefer Saddam right now even if he was a dictator. Its better for the greater good and everyone overall. Much better.

Iraq made up of 3 independant states (Sunni, Shiite, and Kurdish) is the best possible answer.

could probably take care of theirselves with out too many problems, but the Sunni and Shii will never be able to stop theirselves from civil war now. Too many bodies and too many hard feelings.

They will be killing each other for a lont time now, so the best thing to do is just sit back and watch........
