nice link MB. The Laila Helms referred to in his piece is the neice of Richard Helms, former head of the CIA. Also, the Harken oil company mentioned was also financied by Yemeni-born Khaled Bin Mahfouz. Mahfouz, now under house arrest in Saudi Arabia for funding bin Laden (being under house arrest in a huge mansion must be real difficult), was a major shareholder in BCCI and Dubya's Arbusto energy company.

BCCI, for those that may not have heard of it, was used to funnel money into the mujahedeen during the 1980s. The bank was also rumored to laundry drug money around the world. The CIA, as well, had many accounts in BCCI, in particular CIA front companies.

Many times I have read some very dark things about the Bush family. I try to resist but where there's smoke there is often fire. Enron probably would have made Watergate look like nothing if Bush Jr. wasn't riding so high in public opinion polls.

However, the Congress will probably just sweep this under the rug just like Iran-Contra.

Jesus christ. That seriously scares the **** out of me. I had an idea that bush was involved in the sept. 11th attacks, but I always passed it off as a stupid thought. But this has made me think about it, and it's not so rediculous....... I hope this get's national attention. It won't be long before the nation realizes that we need to stop electing people who recieve campaign contributions from such shady people, and that we need to change campaign contribution laws. Ahhhhhhhhhhh ****

Even in my darkest most conspiratorial moods, I can't directly link Bush to 9/11. If I would ever think that there is more to meet the eye it would be about his father. I want to believe (or try to convince myself) that Dubya is not evil but he surely has had connections with some dubious characters.

One thing that is being reported is the fact that Enron gave money to democrats as well as republicans. I have an unsubstantiated theory about that. If you were Enron and you gave large amounts of money to big oil republicans to get some government influence (like hand-picking regulators), what would be one way to remove the taint of corruption from the republicans? Give money (around 25% of what the republicans received according to the media) to the democrats. That way when the s*@t hits the fan, it can be said that both parties received money.

I have no proof of this but it makes me wonder.

Heh,i knew since day one that there was a conspiracy around the events of S11. You have to be really brainwashed by the media/goverment and corperate PR machine in order to think otherwise.
I been saying this all along in the World Crisis forum but people ignored me and called me something akin to a "luny".
We must realize our errors before attempting to correct them.

the thing that i hate the most in any government is corruption, when normal people suffer for things that rich influential people can get away with...this country is so far from what the founding fathers intended it to be that its terrifying what the future could hold...bush is alreayd trying to use 9/11 to make the country a police state,and with all this new power hes gotten he can use it to crucify those of us who smoke as was already seen in the DEA's treatment of the legal medical marijauna clubs in california. he'll do anything he can to distract the population in order to keep their eyes off of his scandals
