REVOX, you never responded to what the stoned philosopher said. There is way too much money being made in the drug trade, and way to much money being thrown at politicians for there not to be conspiracy and corruption.

Your right it isn't because of our currupt politicians. It is number one because because a bunch of white guys killed a lot of indians and stole their land. Then they kidnapped kidnapped a bunch of black guys and forced them to farm and work the land. Then eventually the world realized that slavery was horrible and wrong and most countries ceased slavery. Several decades and a civil war later the bunch of white guys decided to end slavery but continued to treat the black guys like **** and exploit them. Then I guess there must not have been enough black guys to exploit so then we started exploiting immigrants....

I haven't even touched the internment of the japanese, all the imperialism **** that was pulled in the late 1800's and early 1900's, mccarthyism ect ect. (The more I think about it the more I wonder how anyone can be proud of the usa's history. )

wow what a long list of exploitation, hatred, and violence we have.

You failed to respond to your original point when you answered my 2 questions. You said the majority of people did not want it legalized. I showed you 2 cases where the majority wanted it a certain way, and the federal government stepped in because it conflicted with their agenda.

2) The politicians, being the brilliant thinkers they are, decided to avoid one scandal by creating another. I know it isn't right but in order to understand what happened you would have probably had to been in the state congress when this happened. They were probably thinking about the implications of the conflicting laws on the federal level.

The second answer is totally inadequate to convince anyone. By saying they had a scandal and made another to cover it up, explain how that supports your theory above? If anything, it proves the opposite.
