If you remember back to November 1st...

President Bush signed Executive Order 13233, sealing all public domain presidential papers dating back to 1980.... Now Congress is about to fight back..

This order by Bush, has been IMHO one of his worst, and at worst one of his most suspicious as well... One can only hope and pray that Congress gets the better of the President on this one..Presidential Papers are a part of our rich heritage and history and this information is a part of the public domain and should, remain so....

Does this mean that there were 13,232 previous Executive Orders in which neither Congress nor the American People had any voice whatsoever?
Refresh my memory: what is this thing called liberty in a free country?

How can you equate Executive Orders with Liberty (or a lack of it)?

Go read some of them, many have nothing to do with anything related to liberty. Stuff like recognizing a group etc.

Some people think that the government should send out an agent for every single person to "bring them up to date". Basically, they think that the government should hold their hand and walk them through every aspect of policy. They don't want to work to find out what they want to know.
