| A list of 'corporate Connections' is fine and dandy, however there is little analysis of what the ''connection' is. When there is analysis it is little more than inference, suggesting influence without supporting evidence. |

| Considering that the majority of mutual funds etc. include tobacco companies (especially RJR), a lot of people own stock in tobacco companies without even trying to. Re Thompson in particular: "Thompson also raised some eyebrows over his close relationship with tobacco giant Philip Morris. He sold the stock he owned in the company (worth between $15,000 and $50,000)" He sold the stock. I'd be more concerned with his ownership of AOL/Time Warner stock than anything. Most of these "connections" are simply a matter of legal contributions.
