I think Liberals are fascists because they say they're all about personal freedom and that they're doing what's best and whatever, and at the same time, they keep passing more and more authoritative laws, be it regarding gun ownership, censorship, etc. All in the name of "the children" or whatever.

As for being a libertarian with a social conscience... that must be damn hard.

I 've been hearing how every vote counts,here in this democracy and in nearly 30 years of voting, I've seen no changes that were anywhere close to beneficial to ALL concerned.When the time comes,and all government is reduced to nothing more than the speakers we elect in our community to barter our crafts and handiworks for goods we need from outside our parimeters,maybe we will work harder to live in harmony with our neighbors,who own a river.....with fish... b.s.

This comes from living in a representative democracy as opposed to a true democracy where everything is decided by a vote from each citizen.

You can please some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time, but you CANNOT please all of the people all of the time.
So vote for people with similar ideas to YOURS, not similar ideas to the corporations.

Yah, I'm also at issue with these labels.
The thing about libertarians is they are horribly too trusting in the free market. If they had their way, the rich would fly and the poor would die. I almost always side with Green Party views.
