| i've realized how unfair laws are....some are needed but many of them are just there so the government can have a sense of security...security that they have control over society and that they can not and could not get overthrown. our government has a system when they can tak take take and push you around and if you rebel they give you a feared punishment. why do we enslave our self every day by obeying these laws we know are unfair and unjust..why don't we stand up and fight the system if we beleive it's wrong. society is just taking it every day and letting the government take advantage of them. how is it that weed is illegal when alcohol is sometimes physically worse and mentally wose than weed and tobacco is for sure physically and mentally worse given the chemicals and addiction factors. I think society should stand up and say no...let's end the drug war and legalize these substances because it's our personal right to put what WE want in OUR body. I think coke and all the other drugs that have no positive benefits except that they give the user a good feeling should continue to be illegal because they might disrupt or destroy society... i mean coke, herion, meth etc. have no positive benefits so they should be illegal. but those are just thoughts i came accross, not thought through but hey i'm just saying our government is not free...we are not the land of the free... and there is no perfect government out there that would work..but there sure is way better ones. | |

| "No man is good enough to govern another man without the others consent." Abraham Lincoln- I was watching comedians doing standup tonight and half of them made jokes about marijuana, and using it. The whole crowd laughed at all their jokes. So many people use it, I can hardly believe the penaltys for using and growing it. Nobody said life was fair though.

| I don;t blame them for wanting security. Read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and you'll understand how scarry freedom is. I do agree though that our government is oppresive.

It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then?" |
