I love how everyone thinks that America is a free country. When things like this happen it really makes you (me, at least) rethink things. Think about it, we're not in control, how many times have the people of this country tried to get things changed politically or otherwise and the government simply doesn't respond? They don't say no to it, but they don't try to pass it, either. And if the government does respond they somehow keep it afloat in the senate forever until no one cares anymore, or the issue has been resolved.

I suppose it`s not surprising. Bush has pushed hard for federal security measures to be implemented throughout his presidency, and it makes sense that in his final years, with support at an all time low, he`s stopped playing it carefully and slipped a few under the net.

The shit of it is, really, that 9/11 isn't the cause, but rather a Conveniently timed tragedy (I'm not implying it was an inside job, it wasn't, for you crazy bastard who think it was). Infact, Bush started listening to your calls before 9/11.
