Wow. I just have a conversation about this with my mother on the phone. I was raised Baha'i, but my mother started going to a Unitarian Church recently and liked it. I was actually thinking about going to one this coming up weekend, considering I haven't been in a church for 9 years.

If you are talking about a Unitarian church, then I went to tha one in KC....well, more like Overland Park and then there is Unity Village not far from there. Went to those churches from about 14-18 and had more sex there than almost anywhere else at that time in my life.

Gotta love those all inclusive, non denominational, love your neighbor churches. got some hella great stories about being in THAT congregation. Sufi circles in tha parking lot, a pothead for a preacher and a youth group that was just that.


there is also a unitarian "cult" though. Not tha same thing

Nega Duck: Yeahhh UU's are a really friendly bunch if you know what i mean haha. For instance how many UU's does it take to screw in a light bulb? none they screw in sleeping bags :P and yeah not unitarians alone that is a cult im talking about unitarian universalist its a whole different denomination to a certain extent

well in that case I'm TOTALLY down with ya homie. Never actually met someone that was a unitarian outside of tha church. Ever been to Unity Village? It's where it all started and is right near where I grew up. Man....I'm an agnostic, have been most of my life, but it didn't matter to them and, surprisingly, some of what they taught me has stuck around to this very day. Wouldn't be tha person I am without having that experience fo sho. All are merely rivers flowing into tha same ocean as it were.
