I have never thought of Buddhism as a religion divided by sects and denominations, so I was wondering when I read about Santi Asoke. How common is Santi Asoke among traditionally Buddhist people? Does the Dalai Lama recognize the religion as affiliated with Buddhism, or as something separate?
