I warn you, this is a long one.

I had just gotten home today after a long ass and damn hard day of work. I bought a fat eighth yesterday and was hoping to get a few puffs in before my mom got home. Taking my bag upstairs, I smoked a bowl in front of the fish tank 'cause fish are fun when I'm high. So I'm sittin there pondering philosophy as I sometimes do when I'm alone. For whatever reason I got to thinking about how humans have conscious awareness of themselves and everything else doesn't. Then I got to wondering just what this "consciousness" really is. From psychology classes I learned that not only do humans have large brains, but that brain is comprised of a higher percentage of association areas than any other animal. This means that a much larger part of the brain is used for interpretting meaning in things, rather than instincual things. Then I thought, well no sh!t humans can do so much, because we can establish very complex meanings to many things with such brain capabilities. Well, evolution has gotten us this far with the help of written language and our ability to communicate and interpret information from one another. The only reason we are better than those "animals" is because we're like cheating by having so many different perspectives and sources of information, while they're pretty much restricted to their families. It's the social animals that communicate information with one another that are the smartest.

Alright, now that I got that figured out, I got to think then why the hell do we think that any of our interpreations of "God" are correct. That very idea is absurd, because even though humans are relatively smart they have no chance of possibly understanding "God." And this is where I think I got rolling. Humans have the tendency to view "God" as similar to them because their knowledge is restricted to our immediate vacinity. I mean, sure we're smart compared to things on earth and think we're pretty sweet, but we don't even know what the f*ck else is out there! I mean, how f*cking arrogant are we as humans to think God is devoted to us and all the rest of the UNKNOWN UNIVERSE isn't as important. This made me really pissed off to think how irrational people are being to think they are right. I understand why they do it though, because it's just easier and human nature to conform and not have to stress oneself with really discerning just what it is they are doing. But hey, I enjoy thinking about deep sh!t

So anyways, God isn't some outside being that created everything, he IS the force of everything just BEING. And I say "he" simply because it's a tendency since I was brought of Catholic and had that stuff pounded into me for 12 years. Yeah it probably should be capitalized, but whatever I'm rambling. So as the famous Bible passage made new sense to me. "I am who am" I believe it was. This kinda made you think that God was some person or entity, but the way I see it is that God is that is. He simply IS. He IS everything, most of which we haven't seen and don't understand. Thusly, to understand that which surrounds us is to understand God! Because if you gain information of everything that IS, which yes is very unlikely by humans anytime soon, you will understand God...

So... I AM GOD. We are all God. To quote me, "THAT F*CKING PLANT IS GOD!" Man... we are all being. We are. God is. WE ARE GOD BEING. Together... as one... we exist... as God...

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

That is a cool theory that I think I've thought of before too..

A friend and I also thought once while we were high, that we should make a religion where God worships us and we make him do things.. Of course, this doesn't make much sense now because he wouldn't be God if he worshiped us

I have thought almost the same thing, but all weird and not as "WOAH." (probably due to the fact that I was sober when I thought of it I think)

I was thinking about bacteria; they probably just think that the world is just whatever they're in (or you could apply this to plankton or fish or whatever). They feel that what they do affects everything, which they may not think is very much.

But what if we're like that? We could think that the universe is everything there is, but maybe it's not and our scope on things is just ridiculously small.

Sure, bacteria may not be able to think (or fish at that capacity), but still, what if OUR brains are small compared to the big beings that exist and own our universes and carry each universe in their necklaces to show their friends, and we're actually WEIRD BACTERIA they study in Biology?!?!?!

Holy crap, that freaked me out. WHAT IF WE ARE BEING STUDIED BY ALIENS NOW, like they have school courses about us?

I'm sober by the way, it's just that that thought is MIND BLOWING.

Sounds very similar to what I believe.

Take a world religions course sometime, it will blow your mind! Well, I guess that depends on how the teacher presents it, but it's likely to blow your mind.

I'd always wondered why we were so much more advanced than other creatures, and that makes sense. Communication, eh? We are what we learn.
