nature i indeed the greatest thing round here. no material possesion could ever rival the grandness of nature. we are in the wrong forum so let me cut it quick. i believe we should worship God through nature (outside)in the woods or something, by ourselves. i dont like the concept of religion being taught to us in church. i wanna figure it out for myself, guidence is appreciated but you can get that by looking at nature. the seasons comming and going represent our stay on this lovely planet.

now....the topic on hand, marijuana and religion. i too believe that marijuana has its roots in many many religions. i make this statement for this reason, when i smoke...i question logic, my surroundings, thier "realness" and so on. the only way to further your knowledge in a field of thought or belief is through questioning. am i correct? marijuana helps you do this, while also enabling you to become one w/ your surroundings, which ties this section in w/ the section above between me and bonghits. ~holla

you guys...don't ya get it.....some things take people to different levels........the drunk is really high on god?????.......man sometimes the flame burns out in life...for whatever reason......some people can renight it and others can't.... and yea for some reason when i feel high i go to another realm........yea it feels good...but am i really connected to god or my self as i see things ,,,,because of my connection to life....you gotta have a good outlook to get high......no you have to feel good all the time to get high........high takes you to a different realm..more connection so the way you see things high is the way you really are.........so call it connected...it for many of us is a nice place to be....so why should we be condemed....for smoking a little old plant.......THE PLANT IS GOD???????? naw just talking

I don't think there are any connections, i just think weed lets you enjoy life a lot easier. And if it makes life easier then it makes religion a lot easier to understand because the weed allows it to sink into you. I say next time you go to your church service go high. not to have fun, but to understand what the preacher has got to say. Hell, read the whole bible or whatever books there are to those who aren't christian.

You know, God didn’t create everything for man’s enjoyment, remember the garden of Eden when God created Adam & Eve he told them that they could eat of the fruits that he had created but there was one tree that they shouldn’t eat of and they did. Just an example that sometimes there are things that even if they are there it doesn’t mean you should touch. God also created poison Ivy and such, would you go and crawl trough it ? As far as Jesus using pot I beg to differ with you, maybe you can show me in the Bible where you see this I would be willing to discuss it with you. There are no contradictions in the Bible you may see some because that is what you want to see. He felt a call from God then but it wasn’t time yet and when he saw God in the burning bush God had decided that his time had come. But you do not need to be in the nature to have a relationship with God, because he’s as close as the mention of his name and to be in his presence all you have to do is praise him because “God inhabits the praises of his people. Ps 22:3

I do not believe this and the Bible does not say this, you can not apply something to God’s word if God’s word does not say so. It’s very important that you understand that what is written in the word is what it says. God doesn’t have to use drugs to speak to people he can do it because He’s God.
