Hey All,

Iza been thinkin. Im a christian, and belive that marijuana was created by god for humans enjoyment. Anyway, I was just wondering what peoples oppinion of the connection of ganja and god, or any other religion for that matter. Id appreciate it if nobody rants for too long. I know this is a pertty hotly debated topic, but I (and everybody else Im pretty sure) just wants a realtivly straightforward oppinion.

Very interesting stuff. Although some is slightly contracditory to the New/Old testament, apocrapha, and ancient greek bible, much is credible. Hmmm, wonder where I can get my hands on some holy annionting oil?

Jesus used marijuana, and thats okay with me.

If you look back to the old school testament, you'll find that when moses was visited by God through the burning bush, he left the industrial life he used to live in egypt, and instead got closer to nature when he drifted off into the desert. He found GOD and heard his voice when he got closer to nature. To be close with God is to be close with nature. Those of us who know God, can have a relationship with the earth. All of creation was created by GOD for man, and when we get near to nature, we find ourselves in his presence.

Definently. I feel very close to god when in nature. I love nature and being in gods creation, its awe-inspiring to say the least. Being in mans creation quickly becomes tiresome, but there is someing about being in nature, that I just cant get enough of.

Yeah, the whole "burning bush" situation really makes me think Moses did some praying with cannabis.

Which is no co-incidence. I think alot of religion sprung from hallucinagenic substances, and marijuana.

The divine is everywhere....but nature is peaceful and calming so you are more tuned into the divine.

bonghits, what up? i really like the way you put things, i seem to understand, maybe we are on the same brain wave or something. but if i analyze what you are saying correctly, you sorta mean that the earth right here is heaven. we just gotta know how to connect w/ god, which you are saying is through nature. is there any correctness in what i am saying? if this is what you mean i think it is totally respectable and is worth a thourough looking into. holla

Thanks a lot isofthebholdr! I'm sure we do have a lot in common. Actually, I do believe there is a heaven after this earth. I also believe that this world is supposed to be enjoyed by God's creation. I believe that if you have the knowledge of Christ within you, you have the ability to have total peace, love, joy inside you on earth. I believe that God wants me to enjoy this world that he put me in because it says in the bible.

There is a mass of verses in the bible that talk about humans being visitors on this planet. We are a vapor that appears for a while and then vanishes. Just think about a spray bottle. One spray shoots out this vapor and it just withers away after a few seconds. We aren't even aware of what we can do on this earth. We are so powerful but we believe the lies that we are just a number. We are visiting for a reason.

That's why I think it was Urban-Ninja that said that he never gets tired of looking at nature. That's because we are visiting, my spirit is so amazed when I look up at the stars or when I walk outside and see some huge trees. It never gets boring. But it seems now more than ever that God is telling me that I can see a real spiritual person by his ideas on nature. If one says he knows Christ yet helps fund those companies which destroy God's earth to make way for big business he is a liar. Anyway, I gotta cut this short, please reply to this post isofthebholdr and tell me what your thoughts are on nature and stuff. Until then, peace out to all!

I believe there are connections between marijuana and other psychotropic substances and all religions... heh heh
