I don't have time to get caught up in things and am still on a break of sorts but given some of the threads being discussed here a couple of weeks ago this seemed like it might be relevant for some of you. This is more or less what I was trying to get at in another thread, that it isn't science or evolution that's the root of the problems today so much as it is the lies. If it wasn't for that most of the tension would simply fade away I'd think. If I'm right then the best way for the moderates with religious beliefs to protect their faith might be to confront the extremists, make sure the world knows they don't speak for you too. Otherwise the conflicts between what people actually witness and the 9th Commandment might start to get hard to live with for some. People can't teach a belief by constant violation of it, we teach by example.


And a quick note on where that trend is taking us as a nation these days. The comment thread to the video is worth reading, it notes a few things the video misread or missed. We seem to be being drawn more and more into extremes.
