Evolution can not explain why some non-reptilian creatures have large mouths but no ears. It appears to be a condition that can only created by a god, gods or de-evolution.

Or maybe those non-reptilian creatures live in an enviroment where sounds isn't important for survival.......or maybe other factors have reduced these creatures breading pool to a level where evolution isn't happening.... or maybe some of these creatures are a dead end and having no ears will lead to their demise.

One of the tenets of evolution holds that biology is in continuous flux. What we observe now is not the end result of evolution, but just one moment of continued change an adaptation.

Education is brainwashing in my opinion. What we consider a fact know could be a hysterical fairy tale to people 1000 years from now, just like people who thought the world was flat and if you didn't believe so you were considered a fool. That's what I don't like about history, science, and everything else. You are expected to learn it, but you never know if it's true or not.

We think gravity is a force that pulls, why can't it be a force that pushes?

Nothing is certain, there are very few "certainties" in this world, and who is to say a certainity on Earth is a certainty everywhere else in the universe? We think we know alot about everything around us, but we don't even understand our own mind, which would lead me to believe we have a long way to go. We try sending people to Mars and we can't figure out the common cold. Go figure.

SystemsBuster sounds like a Gnostic Sage from before, during and just after the "Time of Christ", very cool stuff. I like the idea of humans being a part of a whole, eternal conciousness. And that everyone has the power of a Christ within them. You know before the Bible was canonized there were several, and I mean several different versions of Holy Christian Scriptures being passed around and taught. Many of these stories held Christ in a more imperfect light, showed prominent roles for women in the church, and just seemed to teach not that these are Histories, but just stories. Ways to illustrate some of the outer mysteries of a much deeper religion. And that the so called "inner mysteries" were kept only among the most experienced initiates, and that only a few masters existed to initiate new believers. Anyone else ever read up at all on the Gnostics? I always found that the closest to any spiritual truth I've seen. Very close to Buddhism, but not as Isolating.

Indeed I have read it. Once you understand the history of our world and how the church was ultimately set up, you start to question many things. Mainly that Jesus is just a man, who found a way to tap into the inner Christ in all of us. Since we are all part of a collective whole, each of us has the ability to do so. There are 5 different levels, this is also known as an awakening, the higher the level, the more "heaven on earth" becomes apparent. The church outlawed these teachings, mainly to keep control of political decisions. The Gnostics also believed that Jesus had female partners, was quite mischevious as a child, and would often do things every normal person would, because why not.

They also teach that the things most mainstream organized religious Christians believe are just fairy tales, merely a way to communicate to people who could not fully comprehend everything at once. Like when you tell a child that the stork brings babies, it's just a fairy tale, but easier to explain than going into the full process of reproduction which a child surely would not understand. Merely the same thing Jesus did, you cannot teach the masses something they will not understand, you have to start small with Earth Science before you move on to Quantum Mechanics if you get my drift.

If I would consider myself anything, gnostic christian would be pretty close.
