I totally get why people have faith. I was a Christian for 20+ years. But, I reject the notion that not believing in Jesus means "not giving a dman about anything". I still behave the same way as I always have and I love my family and friends the same. I care about the country, I care about people. I don't need Jesus for that. The more critically I looked at my religion, the more it became evident that it wasn't what I wanted to be a part of.

But again, there are people who feel like they NEED religion. It seems to comfort those who are afraid of death, have nothing else going on (ie, convicts), or were raised in it. Freddy
