According to Christians, god put everything on Earth.

Also, for those Christians that do smoke pot, why would it be god "tempting" them. I'm sure a lot of Christians, whether they smoke pot or not, don't think of pot as a sin or anything...

Well smoking weed is solely someones choice whether they are christian or not. Reagan was the reason pot is legal and he was a hardcore conservative christian...and an idiot. If your asking if I think its there to tempt christians....I doubt those kinds of people would be looking for weed dealers. If most of you recall before you started smoking you were probably very sensitive about it and told yourself you just wanted to try it. A.K.A if you dont smoke you probably dont have the urge to at all.

Where is pot legal? And how did Reagan legalize it?

I recall that Reagan attended a Presbyterian church, but was never very out there with his faith, nor are Presbyterians in general considered very far to the conservative right as far as Christians go. Please share your source of information so that I can be more informed.

Since you are asking for an answer from a Christian, someone who believes in God, and believes in the Bible being God's holy word, let me answer you this way.

Genesis 1:31 - God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

Therefore, marijuana is a gift from God.

I think he meant to say Reagan is the reason pot is illegal, which is absurd on its own, since it was illegal long before Reagan came along. Going a little further, I suspect Reagan wouldn't have used the drug war propaganda if it hadn't mirrored the majority of public opinion at the time. Most politicians are not so original as to be trend setters but rather attempt to play to the majority. Their jobs depend upon their popularity, after all.

I remember Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaign. I was in high school when it started. I didn't try cannabis until I was 18, but that campaign never phased me.
