didn't say anything about their damn land
I said they were forced into schools and beat for speeking their own languege or practicing their own beliefs.........this was done after we stole all their land and forced them on the reservations of worthless land and had subdued them..........but that wasn't enought the christians forced them from their moms and dads and made them go to schools and learn christianity and english and if they dis-obeyed they got beat , if they talked their native tounge they got beat , if they practiced any of their own religious beliefs they were beat , many were beat to death , many tried to run and either died escaping or where shot escaping...............all to bring the word of god to childern..............would make me proud to be a christain..........NOT!!!

no they seem to over look the many wrongs they have done
and only point out the rights
which is basicly the same any human from any group would do

this was all done after the government was done with them this was all christains that did this

Actually, that also has just as much to do with the white man's view of the natives as savages. It wasn't just the Christians that were attempting to do this, there were all kinds of people in office and other people that had their reasons for wanting natives integrated into mainstream society. If the natives spoke English and were educated, people would be inclined to fear them less, but at the same time it gives the government easier control over them. There's good and bad in all of it.
