Hello everyone , im new to this board and thought that i should post something. This may sound stupid or werid but what if Marijuana was a person. Do you think that it would make a great president , alot of people like Marijuana , so i think that if Marijuana ran for president it would have alot of people backing it up. Im sure this makes no sense . But what do you think Marijuana would be like if it was a human , or even a God Or Goddess. Think about it.

Hmmm.. I don't know about marijuana as a human being.. but the idea that it could be a god / goddess is pretty interesting.

In ancient Hinduism, there is a god (which was revered as the most important in the Vedic pantheon) called SOMA. I won't go into details about this drug SOMA because it would require that I talk about an off-topic substance... buuut I will just say that it was ingested by the hindu priests during a ritualistic ceremony. This god, SOMA, "the single eye", was the key to actually becoming that god. It was said:

We have drunk the Soma, we have become immortal, we have arrived at the light, we have found the gods.

What now can the enemy do to harm us, and what malice can mortals entertain? Amplify, O Soma, our lives for the purpose of living.

These splendid waters, granting much, protecting.

Like fire produced by friction, may the waters inflame us! May they cause us to see afar and to have increasing welfare.

If I had to envision marijuana as a god, I would describe it as something similar to SOMA. A substance that lets you become that god. A plant that amplifies our lives for the purpose of living.
