As for the OP....it doesn't really seem worth getting my panties in a bunch over since it could be argued that it is a way of demonstrating the problems with some "fundamentalists" beliefs. I would however object if anyone tries to offer it up as some sort of demonstration of Christian beliefs in general (which vary extremely from one person to another).

keep in mind all the tribal people destroyed in africa and south america because they weren't christian and on going missionary work still done today!!!

Im not taking sides here, but if you look carefully its what the catholic belief bases are, just put in other words...
Nobody is saying that its right or wrong just putting down the facts.

I think religion is good because it brings people more together and encourages comunities which is good lets not say its all bad, the bad in religion is that it takes away our ability to question things...
For example in europe the countries that stayed catholic where also the ones that took longer to industrialize, all the great minds where protestants.
