Don't worry man. Knattyspliff just wants to run his/her mouth about how proud they are to be a rasta. Nothing more... He/she is getting upset over nothing. All of what knatty has to say is irrelevant to the subject and idea at hand.Knatty has a lot of misplaced anger. Read the title again knatty... "Lets create a religion out of weed, so we can smoke ourselves retarded". I don't think you understand the point of whats being said. I never said you had to join or anybody for that matter. The idea was to help out my fellow smokers. But your anger ,toward I don't know what, just doesn't sound like your thinking straight. Knatty just what are you trying to defend???

I wasn't TRYING to argue, I was trying to clear up because you were making a statement as if it applied to ALL Rastafarians, which it clearly does not. Rasta belief varies from individual to individual.

Don't mind me, I obviously know NOTHING about Rastafarians... I've only been raised Rasta my WHOLE LIFE.

My anger is not misplaced and I was quite calm through-out the whole process. Emotion is something not easily expressed over the internet.

I originally expressed anger over the first message of this thread because it was about fooling the government with something that SHOULD be a legititamate reason why we can use pot, but the author would "create" a false religion so he/she could stay stoned whenever they want. "Hey man, I'm practicin' my religion man it's my right."
Bah. That kind of falseness angers me. However, I wasn't angry when we started reasoning over Rastafari.

I don't see how my attempt to explain a few things about the worship of Haile Selaisse (of whom I've always seen spelled "Jah Rastafari" until you spelled "Ja") interrupted into an arguement. Read my first two posts on this page...do they seem like I'm arguing with or attacking you? I don't think so... maybe this is all a stupid misunderstanding.

I don't apologize. However, I would have been more careful with my wording if I could do it over again because obviously you people get defensive if someone tries to correct you. Are you that close-minded?

I knew the title of the ****ing thread. I am not incompetent. I wasn't angry until these last two messages, where DrugLawReform obviously enjoys attempting to prove me wrong, and where you conclude that I'm ignorant, confused, and angry at nothing.

Let me say this; I don't get angry without good reason.
Anger is a gift, in the words of Zack of the rock. I use it sparingly.

You two have provoked me needlessly, and THAT angers me.

One more thing; Dr. Greenthum, regardless of what the original message said, I was not replying to the ORIGINAL message and it's contents, I was replying to
a post submitted by DrugLawReform 07-12-2001 06:51 AM.

If anyone attempts to say that I don't know what I'm talking about or continues to argue immaturely don't expect me to reply. I don't need that kind of foolishness
right now.

Looking at ther original title of this thread, and seeing where it is heaading.
several points.
One, a lack of knowledge is NO cause for a lack of courtesy.
while this thread did not get wildly out of hand, it does look quite a bit like bickering.
Dr, Greenthum stepping in and aggravating things did not help.
Since this seems to have left true discussion behind.
