I just wanted to say that I have been hesitant to post to this topic(spiritual). I have noticed that if you do there's a good chance you will end up in an argument. Anyone else feel the same way. It seems that people don't realize the are so many paths to getting in touch with something that is bigger than all of us. Personally I don't care what people call it or how they find it, but when we try and tell each other how, that is when the problems start. I only wish that love and understanding would prevail. To each his own. And may we all learn something from each other even if we aren't converted.

People tend to believe so passionately in their religion that they are not able to consider other people's view points. You can't have a discussion with someone who is not open to having their opinion swayed.

DrugLawReform, the reason many people get upset is because religion is a touchy subject. If people believe they're wrong about ONE thing, then what is to say their whole belief system isn't wrong? They don't want to change their beliefs, and they don't want an open mind on this. It's kind of a shame, but whatever. Religion is one thing you can't prove or disprove.
