From what I've read on the subject your completely wrong about satanists. They dont worship satan as everyone thinks, to them he is just a myth made up by christians to scare people. I think their name stems from their direct conflict with christianity, thats why they use alot of christian symbols, except reverse them - hence the upsidedown cross.

Also from what ive seen they use the image of the devil to their advantage even though they dont beleive in him.

lol if you read my rant that what i was basiclly saying, thats why i think satanism doesnt make any sense. If they dont worship satan and even deny his existance, whats with the word "satanism" and all the satanic symbols?

Anyway i think alot of the satanic stuff they use as symbols etc is to feed off christianity because christianity is the religion they hate the most hence all the anti christian stuff, which includes the devil.

Also the Name came from christians themselves, they were the ones that named people who didnt follow christianity 'satanists' so you see satanists didnt call themselves this but over the centuries the name stuck.

And also christians called anyone that disagreed with thier paradigm a "satanist".

You said that you disagree with people carrying out their lustful desires with others. you said they dont need to do that. thats true . man could survive for a lifetime without engaging lustful desires. they dont do it because they need to . they do it because they want to . the term want pretty much defines lust. and my question to you is why shouldnt they pursue their lustful dsires? they are not harming anyone. is there somthing morally or ethically wrong with the activity?

Iam neither for it or against it, they can presue their desires and lusts if they want to but still you dont really need to do it.

i'm no english major, but i think the phrase " i disagree" would imply that you have some problem with the behavior in question and disqualify you for neutrality.
