I wasnt completely serious. Overall i didnt really mean it,still had the bias against anything satanic from being a christian most my life and that was the thing that biased my ranting when i typed my rant up (that and all desires lead to suffering). Now i offically repeal my words, iam neutral when it comes to seaking pleasure,as long as you dont harm anyone or anything else doing so.

From what I understand, Satanism is just a bunch of Atheists who like to piss off Christians. I personally don't believe in Satan - I think that people cause their own problems, in most cases - so I can't help ya with that first part.

StonedPhilosopher: You questioned in the first post to this thread why the Satanists call themselves satanists if the do not believe in Satan or God. Anton Levey did not term his churc as such until a large christian organization attacked them and called them Satanic. He Then adopted the term because in the Chistian midnset, what he was doing was satanic. The name of his church is in mockery of them.

personally i have been raised a prodistant and now that i'm old enough to have a mind of my own and think and come up with my own opinoins of religion i still think that christianity has the right idea but some of it got ****ed up along the way. as for catholics. ha. no offense but i hate the whole bunch of them and you should NEVER put prodistents in the same group as them. all their " holy water" and kiss my ring, and a pope mobile and all that bull****.
DAMN it pisses me off. did you know that a while ago the pope tried to perform an exercysm and couldnt do it so someone else had to come in and finish. (some of you probably dont believe in that but if its true,which i think it is, would you figure he should be able to).
also catholics have all those stupid prayers and stuff to Mary. where the hell is that in the bible!!!! and what about all those damn classes, i dont remember god breaking bread and pouring wine at the last supper and saying, "all of you who have been though your communine classes(or whatever they're called) can drink from this wine which is my blood splilt for you and eat this bread which is my body broken for you. As for the rest of you come back in a few years when your through with your classes and you can share communion with the rest of us."
the body of christ was meant for all who seek it and thats in the bible. i'm paraphrasing of course. not only that but did you know ( well probably did cuz you guys all seem 10 times smarter than i) but, they use styrafoam cracker things so as to not get crumbs "gods body" on the floor and you eat over a mirror and of there are crumbs they bless them or somthing and disspose of them in a special way. i dont remember reading that either.

First of all, you are saying things that are very offensive agaisnt another's beliefs, but it is also obvious from your wording that you have had very little formal education in religion and I would hazhard to say none in comparitaive religion.

Becasue of that I think your rants, which are based mostly on lack of knowledge of the rituals you described and their importance in the faith of the Roman Catholic religion that we can allow your rants to be taken with no offense ment.

However, I must caution you that your posts are offensive in nature and please refrain from posting messages you think might offend others.

You are very self-aware, if you think what you write might offend someone, then it's pretty sure it might. Just erase what you've written and start fresh, or wait awhile more before replying. You also have the edit button which allows you to edit your message within a few hours (a day I believe) of posting it if you feel you want to change your tone.

I suppose the only real beef I have with organized religion is that it comes across so close minded, the we are right, and everyone else is wrong mentality.

Reminds me of an average episode of peoples court.

I have little respect for someone that adheres to a religion that has any such sentiment, or someone that claims a religion yet doesn't adhere to its "rules".

Maybe that is the aquarian in me, I don't know, I just loathe hippocrites.

If someone wants to be a satanist, that is fine with me as long as they adhere to whatever rules that belief system entails as long as one rule is followed. "Do no harm". That is the only rule that should be imposed upon any "civilized religion"

BTW, that should also be the only law we should have to deal with.

Isn't satanist synonomous with governmentalist?

i have no empirical source of this but, i believe that the original reference to 666 is in the book of revelations. The author in prison at the time by the romans, was sending code to others. 666 was the intials of the current ceaser. i dont know what alister crowlery had to do with it.

i think most people professing to be christian dont act in a manner that i believe to be very christian.

It is unfortunate that we have such a huge amount of denial in our society. It is sad that we have to fight this war on america.
against well meaning people. I can identify more with jesus now than i could when i was a so called "born again christian".

I still believe he was a 'master', is worth study, spoke the truth and fully loved.

i apologise if i affended anyone with my prior comments on this religion thing. i will try to filter my mouth, somthing i have trouble doing. i was totally out of line. there are better ways of getting my opinion across without being an offensice mean person. so for that i'm sorry. and you are also correct that i havnt had any education in other religions being that i'm only 17 and havnt had the chance yet and only know the catholic and protastent religions. but i do think that i have a point about the catholics. yes they're praying means a lot to them along with all the stuff but where is all that stuff in the bible. what i said before is true. it says in the bible that you shall not add nor take away from the word(or somthing to that affect). and thats what they do. in order to take communion in one of there churches you have to have gone through their classes and all that. which is stupid. jesus's last supper he said (and i am paraphrasing) this is my body broken for you take it and eat......and on not just for those of you who have gone through a bunch of classes. thats stupid. gods table is open for EVERYONE. thats all i'm going to say for fear of upsetting anyone again . i dont think this was affensive. if so just let me know and i'll stop all together.

It has to do with full knowledge and intent of your actions.

You need to widen your understanding of and appreciation of other people's right to their interpretation of the words as legitimate whether you accept them or not.
