| Is it just me or does christianity and satanism dont make a lick of sense? In chrisitanity they say that their god is "all awesome and loving" yet if he was truely loving and compassionate then they wont be a hell and i doubt lucifer would of rebelled in the first place! On the topic of Lucifer, the name means "light bearer" or "light bringer" which can be translated to "enlightenment" If you apply the theories of Stichen to this it would mean that Lucifer (or the "actual' person it represents) is the only "angel" to question "god". In light of this why should a person question a truely "loving and compassionate" god in the first place? Could Lucifer be right all along and could the "loving and awesome god" be truely evil? Now my rantings of satanism (much worse than chrisitanity when it comes to making sense), why do they call themselves "satanists" when they say they dont believe in satan? Why do they (anton levy)say that they are "atheists' yet they use a word coined by christians? And what do they mean by living by ones "carnal" instincts? Buddahism is about living by ones true essence, so the true "carnal" instincts are that of the true self or a manifestation of the ego? And in light of that, why do they practice black magik? If they are true to the concept of "true instincts" then why do they need black magik inthe first place? Especially when black magik is stupid because it not only harms other people it harms the user as well and it dosent resort to anything constructive . Another thing, why do satanists use christian icons (upside down cross) and the name satan when they are basiclly the dark side of paganism? The reason i say this because Wiccans dont believe in satan or god yet satanists name themselves after a christian term and idea. And is it just me or does christianity strive to go against enlightenment? Christianity in my eye is the enslavement of the masses ,they even equate themselves to sheep in the bible! Why do chrisitans still go after wiccans? Even though they dont kill them and burn them at the stake like they did in the past (they would if they would get away with it) they still say that they are going to "hell" (how can they "go to hell" when they dont believe in a hell?). Like when i was in high school, some christan girl in my art class said that "all pagans are going to hell" and it upset one of the wiccan girls i there(she was a really good artist btw fyi) and i said "how can pagans go to hell when they dont believe in a hell?" that saying should of spurred satori if i wasnt in the rigid christian mindset that i was back then even though after that the girl defended her "heaven and hell" paradigm saying that hell exists blah blah. I do think that heaven and hell exist, but not in a form of afterlife but as a mindset. heres a story that pretty much explains it: "Once upon a time, a man with a certain military bearing approached the Zen master Hakuin and asked: "Master, do Heaven and Hell actually exist?" The master wanted to answer in the affirmative, but knew that this would give the man a false impression. In all likelihood the man operated under the mundane paradigm that Heaven and Hell exist as places for souls in the afterlife. The master knew what he must do to break through that false preconception. "What is your occupation?"He asked. "I'm a general." This explained the military bearing about him. The master burst out laughing,"What idiot would ask you to command an army? You look more like a butcher to me!" This enraged the general. With a roar he drew his sword. He could cut down this defenseless old man in an instant. "Here lie the gates of Hell," said the master. These simple words stopped the powerful general dead in his tracks. Realization flooded in. The general sudden understood that the master had risked his life in order to teach him a great truth in the most effective way imaginable. "Forgive me, master, for what I was able to do." He felt all at once gratitude, amazement, and shame. "Here lie the gates of Heaven," said the master." Well iam done, and if your offended by what i said oh well, my opinions after all ![]() The Stoned Philosopher ![]() |
