| Being the 23-year-old kid that I am, I wondered if I was the only one -at least in this forum- who felt like some big changes are coming our way towards the following years.... or decades... Many think of it as the Armageddon, or as the End of Days, or whatever. Still, others think that it is totally the opposite; that true peace is on the way, as opposed to the masked, disproportional, "don't do wrong and it's ok to be a hypocrite to avoid "hurting" others" peace thing that we seem to apply and believe in today. I personally view things as "the world that we know today will cease to be and a new, very different world / society will arise". As for the question of whether it will be "better" or "worse" than our actual state, I think that this has yet to be determined. Most people still have to determine whether they want to be an influence or be influenced and, for the first category, many have to decide if they influence for better or worse; for the second one, many have yet to decide what they want to be influenced by... So what do you think? What "category" do you consider yourself to be in? Do you even consider to be in one of them? Articles talking about how people are deciding to change their habits towards recycling, using solar powered / electric systems (like cars) instead of fossil fueled ones, and the like, skim what I am trying to get at. Where do you, reader, stand in all of this? Peace.7L

| I believe we all should be "able" and "willing" to take care of our own in every way. Your diamonds and gold, dollars and cents, won't mean much to someone who can feed himself with virtually nothing. Survival will be the word of the day and you may have to eat and do some very terrible things to come through it in tact. Which ones of us has the best "immaginary friend" will also be the least of our problems as well. IMHO.... Smokey |
