Bare with me cause i'm really ****ed up right now. Thousands of years ago, egyptions constructed massive pyrimids in honor and worship to their god Osyris (not sure of spelling).They had many gods but he was the "king of gods". Through pictures drawn by these ancient people we know that a pyrimid with an open eye at the top is his symbol. A few days ago I found out that Osyris translated means Lusifer ( the devil).Whats my point?? If a pyrimid with an eye at the top is the devils symbol...then why is it on the back of our 1 dollar bill thats printed by our government? Not convinced? In whichcraft, people are expected to perform rituals and all that stuff. Ever picked up a book on whichcraft and flip through the pages? Theres something called the circle of power. It's a huge circle with.....yep, a pyrimid with an eye on top. Still not sure? Our first president George Washington was a member of a vary hush,hush organazation called the brotherhood of the snake. It was a "club" that consisted only of vary wealthy people that were in positions of power. So of course the president of the entire nation had to be a member. The snake has allways been considered evil because of the Adam and Eve story. The snake tempted them to eat the apple.Basically the smake represents the devil.George said that the brotherhood was a political club and nothing more. Then why is it called the brotherhood of the snake, and why did they choose a pyrimid with an eye at the top for their symbol? Over half of our presidents have been suspected of being members. Kennedy, and Lincon were suspected of betraying the brotherhood and look what happened to them. The brotherhood belives in white power and is suspected to have been behind both ML King's and Malcon X's murder because they diden't want any colored person to rise to power. I have no proof of this of course, but the brotherhood is real, and i think they secretly control alot of our country....Anyone ever heard of them? Hell one of you might be a little devil ass kisser. Crazy i know, but theres so much the government won't tell us. They've drawn a curtin over us and wen don't even know it.......

also, from my unerstanding, osiris was the god of the underworld,
and jucge of the dead. that does not mean that he REPRESENTS the devil

from the dictionary,
this says that his symbol is the sacred bull, not a pyramid. i could be wrong but i trut the ditionary over you

concerning the circle of power with the pyramid with an eye on top; your crossing religions left and right, just because its the same symbol doesn't mean its the same thing.

Ok guys, you are obvisously misinformed about your favorite egyptian god. Let me tell you the story of Osiris.

Osiris was one of 5 children, born from the goddess Nut and the god Ra. Isis was his sister, and Set was one of his brothers (we'll leave out the other two for now.)

Anyways, Osiris married his sister, Isis (which was very common in Egyptian times), and Isis found out the Secret Name of Ra, making Osiris become the ruler just like Ra had done. Now Set was very jelious of Osiris and hated him very very much. Set decided to throw a party and invited Osiris so that he could murder him. Set sent one of his servants to get Osiris's diminsions so he could make a coffin for him. At the party, the coffin was to be given to the one who it fit (Yes, i know, what a weird party gift, but thats what was done back then) All the gods had entered the coffin, layed down, but none of them fit into it properly until Osiris tried to go in. Once he was laying down, Set jumped forward and closed the coffin, locking it up and killing Osiris the man, and sending his spirit to the other world. He buried this Chest into a humongous tree, where he thought it would live there forever.

Isis, looking in vain for the chest, finally found it in a distant city. The tree had been cut down to build a palace, and the chest was found and monumented in the palace, because it contained the body of a God. When she got to the city, she asked for the chest and got it. Going back to her own land, she stopped and hid the chest in a nearby marsh so that she could go to her island.

By chance, Set was boar hunting in the exact same marsh were Osiris's body lay. He saw the chest and was immediatly horrified. Thinking quickly, he opened the chest and took out his body. he cut it up into 14 different pieces and flew them all over the world, so that they might be eaten by animals. Isis, coming back and finding to her amazement that the body was gone, set out to find all 14 pieces so that she could properly bury her husband.
Finally she found all but one. His arms, legs chest head feet, everying but (hmm, how should i put this....) his manhood. For that was eaten by certain impious fishes that were cursed from that point on.

Magically, she combined him to form his body again, so that she could send Osiris into the otherworld, because he was bound to the outside of it, for not having a proper burial. Now his son, Horus, was born to avenge his fathers death. he set off to declare war on Set, with the aid of Ra, the father of all gods.

When Set was destroyed, Osiris could no long come back and reign over his land because he had already been dead. Ra granted him the power to rule over the underworld. And that is why Osiris has the title of God of the Underworld.

So, Lucifer, the "God of the Underworld" in Christianity would be the same as Osiris, God of the Underworld in Egyptianity. You also have to understand, that before Osiris was the God of the Underworld, he was a great and powerful ruler and everyone loved him.

The pyramid resembles the God, kind of ironic because he wasnt buried in a pyramid, and the Eye above it resembles his great reign inwhich that he watched over everything and that everyone turned to him for guidance. you know, the Everso Watchful Eye that knows everything about the land he rules on.

Oh, and about the brotherhood of the snake. you believe that a lot of these members control our country. Well, if they are wealthy people IN POWER then obviously they are going to be running our country.

The eye in the pyramid is a supposed Masonic symbol. Many of our founding fathers were admitted Masons. I say "supposed" because there is no evidence of this other that a few bits of masonic symbolism of an all seeing eye, and the compas logo is similar.
It all does make for good fiction, though. Read everything you can written by Robert Anton Wilson (Who is a medical marijuana activist and conspiracy theorist author)

also have to put in there that in ancient times, religion was considerbly different than how it is today.

Lucifer was a term (actually a common name) comeing from the Roman era, almost 2 centuries after the last Pharaoh Cleopatra lost her control to the romans once Julias Cesar was killed by his senate.

So the idea that Osiris was an all evil would be out of context with contempory modern thought..

Like Charon (my scrn name) - is greek mythology for the being that would take the souls of the dead to the after life accross the river of styx.... in the "underworld"

in response to the original post, Shaman is the most correct. the reason there is an eye on top of a pyramid on the back of the dollar bill is because of a secret organization called the "illuminati". i'm sure some of you have heard of them.

they started out as Masons and formed their own cult-ish following. there is much speculation on how much power they have and their influence on the world etc, but frankly having their SYMBOL on the dollar bill is scary enough to me. people in power are only puppets to these people...they control all the strings and have been around for hundreds of years
