Ive violently thrashed many a scientologist in the name of... umm.. myself.

I hate the bastards more than anything else. I know pretty much everything there is to know about them, aside from the stuff that you just cant know.

There is NOTHING GOOD ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY.

I hate all other cults too btw, but wouldnt be opposed to starting one since they get tax cuts and whatnot.

what exactly have you heard about the "sessions"? do they tie you down in a chair and force your eyelids open to watch brainwashing movies, like in Clockwork Orange?

I had to visit a Scientology church service for a class I was taking on comparitive religions a few years back. Leave it to the Western culture to develop a religion based on materialism and self-involvement. Anyhow, the entire experience more or less creeped me out.
Not only was it corny (the pre-service music selection included "To Grandmother's House We Go") and self-indulgent, but I got hit on by at least 5 women, which has never happened in church before. Safe to say, I would never involve myself in that "religion" again.

Yesterday was interesting, to say the least. Heres a short pre story-(My sister, is 21, her name is Tara, she has been a scientologist for a little more than a year. Since she has become a scientologist she has lost all her friends, sanity, and ability to do good things. I have supported kicking her out of our house and stoping to pay for her evil game of a life. My parents believe she can get better, for the last 3 years things have only got worse. They continue to give her almost everything she wants, and she never even says "thanks.")

So are your saying that she was crazy before she got into scientology? If so then why are you blaming her crazy actions on scientology?

Scientology isn't all bad. I support the thought that there is a God but all he did was create us and doesn't help us out everyday and cause miracles and such. Then again, I didn't know all that other crap about there being churches and "fixing whats wrong with the world" until about an hour ago. Oh well, I support that one part of scientology that I said.

You can have that belief without supporting scientology.

I think most scientologists believe that rain is wet. I also believe that rain is wet,
but I don't support scientology.

My aunt got involved with scientology around 35 years ago. Back then, they recruited on college campuses. Once they got students hooked, they forced them to take 'training sessions' on how to be a better scientologist. Of course, these cost alot of money. And with the interest charged on the fees, anyone in scientology would quickly become so in debt to the organization that they couldn't quit. My aunt even tried to run away around 15 years ago, but because of the debt she was forced to return to the commune she lives on.

Quote:
Scientology was never meant to be a religion. It was originally known as "Dianetics" (sp?) one of many self help books authored by L. Ron Hubbard. If you can get a hold of one of the original texts you'll see that much of what L. Ron says is actually good advice on day to day living. But after he died some nutjobs declared him a messiah and his self help book became a bible.
The Basis that scientology "was never" meant to be a relgion is true and untrue. Hubbard may not have initially intented to make scientology a relgion, but he did call is an "applied relgious philosiphy", many times, and its now printed near the front of every book sceintology has. Hubbard knew it was a fraud religion, but most of its followers did not.

Scientology was hubbards scheme to reap profits from the foolish and naive, and not pay any taxes on that, making an unstopable cult from several books. Scientologists stoped at nothing and eventually scientology received tax exemption and was considered a "relgion." Spreading churchs, translating the books into some 100 languages, paying your employees, cult members whatever you wish to call them, some .25$ cents an hour. They create robots then spread these books, they want these people that read these books to go through 1000$ sessions. Spend hundreds of thousands to become sceintologies perfect being "clear." "Clear of the reactive mind." They say.

They believe that bodies mean nothing, that your a spiritual being that is "76 trillion years old." When your body dies, you are merely reborn into a new body, to start over, move closer to clear, and then after clear, spend a billion years, or as long as it takes "clearing" the world. Their relgious doctrines allow scientologists to hurt or stop in any way, any person they deem "suppressive to scientology", they consider non-scientologists "fair game."

Hubbard is dead and those left in his cult believe it is a relgion and are willing to struggle until they have engulfed the entire world, like parasites, they will infect, and spread, and mutilate, and destroy.

L. Ron. Hubbard has written books that are distributed to scientologists that in obvious english reveal that they will not stop harassing people until they buy dianetics, and eventually all of scientolgies books. They are taught to be robot salepeople, coercive, determined, and without the ability to surrender.

This cult may not be the worst thing on this earth, but I firmly believe its members deserve true justice. This charade of a relgion should be put to a stop before it hurts another person.

hmmm.... sounds like ALL religions to me
Pretty much, but I NEVER met a christian, or a muslim, or a rastafarian or a jewish person that was even close to as deceiving, and evil, and determined to get what they wanted, without care or respect for those that suffer the consequences of their actions. I'm sure they exist, but the ratio of true psychos in scientology is probably higher than most relgions, or cults.

No they just charge you insane amounts of money to do various childish stupid brainwashing and mind numbing excercises. They bring you into a room 2 objects on the table and have you acknowledge the size, weigh, color, and texture of those object, scream the same words into your face over and over and you can't respond, making you run long distances and take vitamins(supposedly a "drug rundown" to clear the toxins stored in your fat) and go into saunas for crazy amounts of time, this drug rundown, its somewhere around 1200$ for a few hours. They don't even pay the people guiding you through this more than .25$ an hour, not even enough money for food.

My sister has been crazy for three years, pre scientology she was essenitally a party, lazy, non working, complainer that *****ed to much. After scientology she became severly delusional, stoped eating for weeks at a time, acused people of insane acts that never happened, attacked people because of those acusations, gave no thanks for the food and shelter provided for her, harassed my close and distant family day to day. Pre scientology my sister had potential to be a good member of soceity, after scientology she has become a waste of oxygen, a psychotic and devoted naive person fighting in the name of scientology and "clearing the world"(scientologies illusionary perfection attained through the teachings and sessions of their cult)

My sister has signed a "Billion Year Contract" with scientology, that she will pledge allegiance to scientology, and never stop helping them in their quest for "clearing" the world. When she dies, she will be reborn, only to continue her task of brainwashing the world, over, and over, and over.......

Freaky Evil Cult -or- Good Relgion To Poke Fun At And Criticize

A little bit of both, leaning toward the Freaky Evil Cult side.
