I think this info is important. There may be a sizeable # of people that have left the Christian Faith 'cause they have been discounted too often for using kaneh bosm, cannabis or seeing that it is UN-Christian to cage a neighbor for using kaneh bosm, cannabis. This info may help bring some of our brothers back home.

Please add your thoughts and additional info. corrections etc. I hold my arms wide open to learn the truth.

Kaneh bosm is the origin of cannabis from Semitic Hebrew language dating back 1,600 years or more before the King James Bible (The Bishops Bible or before). When we retake kaneh bosm in the bible, as it was known over a thousand years ago, with what we know today the bible clearly gives us renewed light. This info was confirmed by Hebrew Univarsity in 1980.

Cannabis is kaneh bosm in the bible before the “Authorized” versions of the bible became available to us pagans. The 5 passages that experienced the “MISSING” are, Exodus 30:23; Song of Solomon 4:14; Isaiah 43:24; Jeremiah 6:20; & Ezekiel 27:19. . These 5 passages are where kaneh bosm was miss-translated to cane or calamus or sweet calamus or fragrant cane or sweet cane or fragrant calamus or sweet smelling inscense or sweet inscense with in my 4 Bibles. Calamus and cane etc. is inconsistent between my 4 different bibles but further is inconsistent even with in each of my four common bibles shown on the chart (maybe not available in transposing to this site..). The chart shows how in my King James Version, New American Standard Bible, New International Version and the Living Bible there is a wide array of what is used, inconsistent in all respects from more original texts using kaneh bosm. There are other entries in other English bible virsions.

This makes pretty clear, exactly what the Bible promises, that kaneh bosm was given to us for food and medicine.

Cannabis glorifies God.

When we retake kaneh bosm in those 5 passages, as it was known over a thousand years ago, with what we know today the bible clearly gives us renewed light. In fact, these 5 original accounts when viewed are an awesome revelation in their own right, practically changing everything that most of us have been taught about the subject, since vocal Right Wing conservative western civilization Christians (an outreach of the Roman Empire), have indicated it is immoral biblically. Kaneh bosm, cannabis was a part of the Eucharist.

One of the things today that may bring more of our brothers back home is the realization of the fact that kaneh bosm, which was in the bible before the King James Virsion, is now a missing of huge proportion.

There are potentialy many young Christians that have sorta left the faith so to speak, because of many loud uninformed folks that claim cannabis users are sinning. It apears that kaneh bosm is a blessing from God. Not just a missing from the KJV et al.

This is something the average corner preacher may not be aware of or they would use the info to reach out to those astray.

For my brother astray , it does not matter, for our Father carries us even when we are unaware of his Love, presence, compassion and mercy.

Use this info. to help come closer to the Lord.

I have more to add as questions or the situations arrise but a lot of info can be gained at the following links.

You can take any Bible, Kings James, NIV, etc... and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the prohibition of marijuana is in violation of the scriptures, not its use. You just have to know God's word and God's will. From Creation, all the way through the OT, to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles it is all taken care of. Nothing left out hinders the arguement at all.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of pseudo-religious arguements flying around that are unbelievable because they go to such unnecessary extremes. The Christian culture of our time will not buy it, especially when it is non-Believers throwing it out. Usually these arguements end up doing more harm than good.

The act of consuming marijuana is not a sin.

inspired by GCW, i have been doing some research on this topic and hope to continue to do so...

an interesting reference for me... 1 Kings 4:29-33

"He(Solomon) was wiser than any other man..."
"... he described plant life, from the cedar of Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of walls...."

you know, the next verse isn't, "... and in his great wisdom, he told all the people of the land to ban cannabis" ! ! ! ! !

--- he obviously knew a great deal about plants... not just their names, or what they looked like (which would be TRIVIA), but their properties/ uses and relation to humanity as well (WISDOM) -- an important distinction.

--- verse 32... " he spoke 3000 proverbs..." So he knew about cannabis, and had plenty of time to warn us about it... his proverbs are full of warnings about drunkeness among other vices... why not mention the evil of cannabis in one or more of the proverbs?

--- I assert: that although he would never have promoted incapacitating intoxication, King Solomon, wisest man who ever lived, smarter than Ben Stein, would have certainly promoted knowledge and use of any helpful plant.

TM comments please!!!

I once read that the bible said that "nothing that enters the body can defile it". Where does it say this, if it actually does?

Craziest thing...been there a long time. I post concerning the lead article at ChristiansForCannabis.Com, "Family Research Council Misses Mark on Medicinal Marijuana" and the link to the page and boom, read only access.

So I went to Beliefnet where they allow you to have study groups 'christians for cannabis'.

I invite you to come by the site http://www.christiansforcannabis.com and let me know what you think.

peace and love,

Smile Check the new thread

Jini, I read your posts over on the discussion boards at Yahooka.Com and was coming back here to make a post for our members to pick up the torch. I've started a new thread that I think you'll like.
