when your looking at star constelations does it remind you of molocules?

furthermore if photons (light particles) are the smallest perceivable particle to our human bodies whats to say their isn't universes unfolding in every direction we can't see.

i think astral stuff is as real as sum one makes it to be becuase when people say its all in your head they are exactly right! EVERYTHING WE CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE is all in our heads...becuase anything that can't find its way into our brain can't be conceived of.

reality is perception. some people can leave their bodies and travel places with their spirit while others simply never go anywhere becuase to them its all in their head...while others take a car to wendies when they feel like 99 cents nuggets

i have expierenced this very much so at times when i least expected it. i think it has alot to do with the unconscious minds abilities...

we only use 10% of our brain science says so whats the other 90% capable of?

i have left personaly expierenced many astral visions(if thats what they woudld be called)...where my eyes could see things they couldn't ordinarely before... usualy at school often during study hall i willl have my head down resting then and just fidgetting trying to kill time when all the sudden i could see my legs through the table and my closed eyes...(whether it was imagined or seen with my eyes is unimportant becuase my vision of my feet matched their exact location it was so weird)...then from their i usualy go on to view out of other peoples eyes...i have seen through the eyes of fellow students...at 1 time the camera in my school...possibly through the eyes of my cats...

this stuff is for real...although i don't have alot of conscious control when i get a good one goin i can literaly see things as clear as i see myself typing now...

so i dunno if thats considered astral or not, but unfortunately it is not something i could consciously just make happen nor would i wish to be able to control consciously...for i think power of such is a bit to much.

also i have had out of body expierences some realy weak, but others like i actualy completely left it.

if you can believe it its possible...anything is possible...and science is just another religion

now i don't know much abotu astral projection but the mind is capable of a lot... also life is really really complex.. and i noticed as a weed smoker for a 3 years i fihureed the herb showed me everything and i knew everything but then i had this other natural substance( also deserves respect) it was not a "drug" to "get ****ed up on" it makes u think and lets u see life for waht is it.. it shows u reality raw. everythng in life is so complex.. btw i can't mention what it is in these baords.. PM me if u wanan know what it is.. i'm sure most who have tried what i talk about know what it is.

but astral projection i feel is in your mind.... but damn i am so blown away by how complex reality really is... its like my third eye has opened.. lol

I posted in General Topics a while ago asking people to post about paranormal activities that they have experienced and someone mentioned astral projection. I wanted to know what it was, and was amazed to learn so much. I studied and menditated for a while, and managed to be "aware" of my astral body, but had trouble breaking free fully.

I joined several postboards relating to the subject, and the use of marijuana whilst attempting astral projection always recieved a negative feedback. So, once I started smoking again, I thought it safer to leave projecting for a while, although I would be interested to hear stoners' side of the story too!

thegoat, you are refering to a skill linked with astral projection called remote viewing. This is, as you mentioned, when you use your third eye to view areas from a position outside of your body.

As for proof of astral travel, I guess you'd have to somehow meet with someone on the astral plane, then contact each other in the physical world. LOL! Handing out astral flyers with marijuana.com or your email address sound like a good idea?

I've discovered too that one of my best friends can astrally project at will, and yet he doesn't understand it at all, whereas I can't do it properly yet and know loads about the topic. Like the student being better than the teacher yet still needing tutition.

Anyway, I think it's a fascinating subject, and hope this post continues!

TheCleric you still havent described youre astral projection...
while trying to aclomplish astral projection are your eyes open or closed? are you able to go where you want at will? how long does this experience last? i would like for other people who have tried astral projection to answer these question for my curiousity.

See i haven't really done much with it so i dont really have much to say on it. I believe in it and all but i don't have the sleep schedule capabilities to really dive into it, i sleep only 3 to 4 hours a day. I do something else though that to me is pretty much the same thing.

I put myself into alpha and i use my mind to project myself rising above my body now free to go wherever i can make it to before i get too tired. It is really cool cause i can actually see the places i travel to with my mind as if i am actually there. Then again maybe i am actually there Alls i know is it puts one hell of a strain on me and i usually fall asleep after i try it. I think that this is kind of similar to Astral but it doesn't require alteration of ones sleep schedule to experience.

So unfortunately i don't know much about the actual experience other than i tried doing it according to a book i have on it and when i began to shift i got freaked out by some noise in my appartment The only other times i had an experience with it would be when i dream certain dreams. Sorry dude. You might want to get a book on it, id suggest Astral Travel by Gavin and Yvonne Frost, its a good read and answers many questions one would have about the whole experience.

I guess in order to give a proper analysis on this you'd have to actually experience it. I meditate on a regular basis, usually every night for 20-30 minutes before I go to bed. Not only does it help me go to sleep, but it clears my mind and I feel great the next day.

I've never actually gone far enough (meaning, meditated in such a fashion to induce this), but have borderlined on it.

If you meditate long enough and can get your brainwaves down to a certain frequency, you do experience certain things (the force of being pulled and pushed, vibrations, noises, etc.). The most common feeling I get is the feeling of just "being" here. It's like infinity, and endless void, you feel totally connected to everything and can "feel" everything around you at any instance. Hard to explain, like I said, but if you've experience it you'll know what I mean.

I would consider astral projection as a trance, or an induced trance-like state between concsiousness and the subconscious. Your dreamworld, where you are free to do as you wish, and only your imagination holds you back.

imagine looking at your body. arms legs face, etc. look at it. compare it to a bug. it is ****in huge! zoom out. youre on the couch. the room seems like reality, and all that matters. now zoom out. a house. this house, though not exactly like every house, is based around the idea of shelter, a concept or requirment we all need, henceforth it is a very large and important idea to us. zoom out. a city. a large commune of shelter. without it, our lives would be much harder. thats a big idea. zoom out. earth. a large collection of rock, formed by gravity and molded by time, to make a huge collaboration of beauty and evolution. big as hell. zoom out. a solar system, collection of rocks floating around a ball of fusion. you would never geuss all the **** that goes on on earth by looking at it. all of this small scale beauty, as common as grass in a field.zoom out. the galaxy. a collage of evolutionary progress. a giant span of all that exists ( or at least should. ****ing huge idea. the universe. the liquid ball of existence, spanning all. every thing is small compared to this giant span of life, death, beggining and ending. zoom out. a bead of dew sits peacfully on a blade of grass. the sun, just rising from a short nap, touches its reach upon the field where this blade of grass resides. think of the universe as that bead of dew. that is the image i was shown while in astral vision. the qeustion of whether one exists or not is mute. the qeustion of what your mind will allow you to see is what is important

Yah, recently I've meditated more, and I've gotten semi-deep, but sometimes it just doesn't work, my mind is in too much turmoil sometimes.

I'm going to begin a sort of "journey" to get into a better state, I know it could take years, but I need the peace. Hopefully I can easily take a good hour or two before I lose control of my mind.

Personally I do believe it is all in your mind, but that doesn't take anything away from it, the mind is very powerful and can create unbelievable things. I think it is good though, it can help to seperate the mind form the body in the sense that you are no longer affected by the physical problems, only your conciousness is able to funtion without any stimuli and your mind creates a world, thats the idea behind sensory deprivation and it can happen with intense mediation.

During your meditation do u listen to music, have your eyes closed?im just curious
