| http://sellingstupid.files.wordpress...ter-kosher.jpg Does this look like something a christian would do? Cow slaughter + christianity = ERR Theres nothing holy or christian about cow slaughter. Which is why Christianity is on the demise unfortunately, as Jesus Christs teachings are no longer being followed. " Thou shalt not kill " Which is why this is called the age of Kali (suffering), since the past five thousand years of this Earth have been filled with cow slaughter. And out of cow slaughter comes homicide, irreligiousity, decline of civilization, senseless wars, etc. More to the point, to be able to love and worship God, you have to stop eating/killing cows, and better yet all meat products for that matter. You should really stop trying to shove people who don't share your beliefs into your narrow little universe. Why aren't you insisting that they worship Krishna instead of the Christian God? Or is that the next step?

| Hindus protest over cow slaughter It was put down due to a tuberculosis infection, for crying out loud. They`d have had this beast living out the rest of its days in suffering- what sort of treatment is that for a 'sacred' animal? |

And let's not forget that Moses actually destroyed the first set of tablets (doh) and that the original 10 commandments should be followed (but obviously aren't unless it fits one's agenda ):

| Let's face it. Cows feed millions (if not billions) of people. But why is it that you object to the killing of cows? What about pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, quail, deel, moose, ostrich or any other animal that is raised and killed for food? Is there no objection to killing those animals? They are raised and slaughtered just as cruelly as cows are. Besides, cows are fucking stupid animals. If you've ever been around them and observed their behavior, you'd understand. Only a cow can find itself nearly drowning in a neighbor's swimming pool, get rescued, then wander off to end up back in the same swimming pool, nearly drowning again the next week. You can't argue that's a bloody stupid animal. Face it.. In a world of over six billion people, they have to eat SOMETHING. human beings are omnivores, designed to eat both animals and plants. Besides, I like a good burger or steak, so I damn sure am not going to give up eating beef... Or chicken.. Or pork.. Or duck... Or any other form of meat.... Except liver. Nasty stuff, I tell ya. Since when is killing an animal for food decidedly un-Christian, anyway? ![]()

| Let's face it. You can feed a lot more people with vegetation than you can with the meat produced by feeding the same plants to to cattle. It takes ten pounds of grain to produce one pound of beef. |

| Buzzby is absolutely right. Agriculture is a much more feasible source of nutrition than livestock. A lot of plants (even hemp) can be made into food products and and even artificial 'meats'. It's just that average Joe will never give up his steak or burger, personally I have had the option of trying soy burgers, tofu-dogs and similar products and really didn't have a preference in taste, if only the alt-meats because they are obviously healthier for me and the environment. Now we have such an increase in demand for meat it's ridiculous. I recently watched a documentary on Slaughterhouses in Europe and found absolutely fascinating, - not for the weak of heart, but for those wanting to sit down and watch some thing really interesting and maybe get a new perspective on the meat industry. Arguably one of the biggest advancements in history was how humans got their food. Initially we were hunter gatherers, then we started to harvest crops, then farming our own animals for consumption. The drastic increase of proteins, vitamins, and introduction of meat as a staple food made our brain and body power advance tremendously |
