would it be reasonable to believe that perhaps a higher being came out of similar condions but not neccesarily the same pool?

i mean wut is the probability of life comming outta a bunch of chemicals mixed exactly together in the right way and then evolving over time into humans? if you believe that then you must also believe that it is possible that maybe somewhere else higher or lower beings are being created. if so, is it possible that somehow we were created by these higher beings?

We know it is possible to create life (its been done in labs) and when I look to nature all i can see is super advanced engineering. when inspecting our own engineering, although primitive compared to nature, i can see it headed towards a creation of new life forms.

robots already have the ability to mimic our senses and AI is only getting better and better. We have the ability to clone things and grow desired types of cells. besides time, what is stopping us from creating a new life form? and will this new life form call us god? or will it just say that we were a farse made up by former beings long ago?

I cannot say which religion is right or wrong, but i must believe that their is a higher being out there and it is very possible that it created us. I think it is whiggity whack to believe that we were formed randomly out of volcano dust and warm slimy water.

Thats your opinion, cause I believe it is "wiggity whack" to believe that there is some higher power no one has ever seen who created us, so we all worship his icon..

As for us being formed out of chemicles, who knows we could have been little dust mites then evolved over millions of years

The only beings that i know of that created me are my parents.

I have a very good rule in my thinking about matters like this. Anything is possible.

As far as probability well im not too sure about any of that, to say one thing is more probable than the next in these thoughts is to assume that your opinion of what is possible is the one that is shared by everyone else. Im sure you will find people who agree with you but, that doesn't make what you say concrete now does it? None of us know what the future holds, some may have glimpses, some may make assumptions, but in the end none of us really has a clue. It's that sort of chaos right there that i love about all this.

Now you make a comment about if we create a new life form will it call us god, I dont know, why did you have a book in mind? I mean it would be kinda cool huh, we start up this big rumor about us being supreme beings and then we can have all these people below us to give us money and do work for us while we sit back and get fat and lazy in the name of prosperity and god. But no, that would never work in todays world, get-out-of-town!

Hmm as for your synopsis my thoughts are this: You say all of that as if what you perceive is correct, to you thinking us appearing out of volcano dust and warm slimy water is wiggity whack but to others the thought that we were created by a giant father figure who only wants to judge us when we die is pretty much the same.

If you must believe what you believe, as you say you do, then may you also believe that what you believe just may not be right because if you do not than you are assuming too much about a belief.

Actually, isn't the probability quite good, if you consider how much time was involved? The billions of years of the universe's existance would likely increase that probability.

but going along with your argument that the probability is quite good given unlimited time, it must mean that either in the past or in the future it is possible for higher beings to have been formed. the bible is a trippy book, and in it god states taht he is the beginning and end, i guess someone long ago must have been thinking along the same lines as me...

your choice is not a simple guess, because one can base their belief on certain evidences. One can interpret patterens seen in nature or maybe even choose to accept ancient writings. I believe it is possible to prove one choicee is more possible than another choice
