These fuckers...these close-minded...these pieces of shit are some of the worst people I have ever heard of.

If you aren't aware, these are the folks that picket's soldiers funerals for fighting for a country that promotes gays. These are the folks that picket funerals of homosexuals that have died from murder or other means(Including picketing Ledger's funeral for playing a gay in Brokeback Mountain). These are the complete fucking IDIOTS that carry the signs around "God hates America" and "God hates Fags" as their most popular slogans. Now..I'm accepting of all religion if you don't push it on me...but these people have zero respect from me.

This video is from May 2006, and it shows a riot that broke loose at one of the Church's gatherings to picket a soldier's funeral.

Now I hate to promote violence, but these mother fuckers are so thick headed, things like these riots are the only things that make a point to these people. I honestly wish this would happen more often to these people.

Yeah, I have seen that posted around the web about them picketing Ledgers funeral. It really is a shame, I don't understand how they rationalize this, and then they make a mockery of our dead soldiers and beloved actors?

What a bunch of brainwashed bigots. That video you posted Dark was interesting, that town certainly went apeshit! I thought it was disgusting how they were like "Everyones in? Alright lets roll...." like its an everyday thing for them. Then when the crowd breaks the window out they actually wave back.... oh the ignorance.

I equate Christians like these to the fundamentalist Islamic who believes all infidels should die, only they rank one notch lower in that they propose not only death in this reality, but a suffering that is eternal. In order to maintain some sense of difference between the Christian I am and the Christian they are, I'm going to utilize a new spelling: Christine to denote my particular brand of faith...

These are not followers of Christ, and they are who Ghandi was talking to when he said "I don't hate your Christ, I love your Christ, it's just that so many of you (Christians) are so unlike your Christ. Not only would you not see Christ at a gathering such as this, but you'd see him posting here almost verbatim what Dark posted. I'm pretty sure.

These are the people that Christ was referring to when he said that in the end times after his return, some would come to him claiming to be his follower, and pointing out how they had done all this great work for Christ, and he pointed out how he would claim to have never known them and how they should depart from his presence.

Christ wants nothing to do with Christians such as these, and it is this same mentality that caused the inquisition, the crusades, the Salem witch hunts (list as many horrendous activities that Christians are responsible for here) Hitler was anti semetic, was he a professed Christian too? You get my drift... If these people could be equated with anyone of Jesus' time, it would have to be the pharasies and saducees scribes and clerics which he outright blasted for their hypocrisy which led to his ultimate sacrifice upon a cross.

He spoke his mind the same way you have Dark.

I honestly wonder what they would do if their Savior showed up and chastised them for their behavior if they would crucify him on the spot...

Mrs. PErv was just relating a recent story from one of her friends who was at a memorial at a US Marine base where Fred Phelps and his band of whack-jobs were protesting.
Apparently there were four of them and several THOUSAND supporters of US soldiers.

There was no incident.

And Fred Phelps needs to go into combat and get shot with an AIDS-laced bullet, then raped by wild dingos.

I heard of these guys a few years ago.

If you want to read about some people on the opposite end of the spectrum, check out the patriot gaurd riders. They basicly go to the funerals of soldiers (with permission of the families), and form an honor gaurd with their bikes, to protect/drown out these idiots.

At the end of the movie 'American History X', the lead character who spread hate for a good part of his life was asked what all that hating has accomplished, and he was torn for an answer!

It makes me wonder if mental illness (which it HAS to be a form of!) can be spread in cases like these groups. IOW, you've got one 'leader' type guy who's LOADED with mental illness...and through his preachings can brainwash his 'disciples' into thinking the way he believes! A few names come to mind...Charles Manson, Adolph Hitler & Jim Jones for starters.

I'm really not a violent person. theres far too much violence in this world without me adding to it. That being said, I'd love to punch every member in this church and scream "What the fuck!?!??!?!"

These cretins claiming to be God's people is like awarding Bin Laden a Nobel Peace Prize. I'm far from an expert on religion, but have no time for bigots who promote thier message as being "Holy". Bigots are bigots, and hiding behind a church's name doesn't change that in the least. Hopefully, I'll never be seeing the flames of Hell, but if I do, I can at the very least look foreward to seeing the look of suprise on Fred Phelp's face when he realizes just what God thought of his life's "work"
