No.

However, you can choose to go against your instincts. I understand it's not easy, nor reasonable, but possible.

They may choose to stop having homosexual intercourse and instead change to relations with women, but they are still homosexual, it's ingrained. It's the same as a person born as a boy, then later changed to a woman, they are still male in some ways (brain structures, some bone structure, and possible other lingering male traits). To completely erase any homosexual tendancies and traits simply by choosing to is near impossible.

I've seen men who can force themselves to grow boobs on a subconscious level, think of the kind of power the baser parts of mind has. I've seen people do amazing things to their bodies and minds with the power of their mind alone. There's an old buddhist saying/philosophy that what we do and say becomes the things we think, and what we think becomes who we are. Or something along those lines.

Completely disagree. Changing your sexuality is impossible, repressing it isn't. Furthermore, repression of such a thing is unethical.

There are Christian organisations out there which offer support groups for homosexuals wishing to lead a straight or celibate lifestyle. These people treat their sexuality like an alcoholic treats alcohol- it never 'goes away'; they simply repress it. That, to me, is evidence enough that sexuality is far from choice- on any level.

If one doesn't have the control to harness that kind of awsome mind power, is that their fault? If they don't have the sheer mental capacity, or the potential for that kind of "mind and body metamorphosis", isn't it then NOT a choice?

You can control your own mind to the extent you choose to, silverspork. It's that simple. It may not be easy, but it's possible.

So if I wanted to grow wings I could, as long as I thought about it hard enough?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only dude here who'd like to hear some expansion on that.

Arguing the degrees to which 'innateness' is applicable simply isn't conducive to the argument at hand. To all intents and purposes, homosexuality is innate and any repression thereof is counterproductive and unethical.

Dude, that makes no sense at all!

No matter how hard I try to chose to find a man sexually attractive I can't do it! I can't choose to crave a phallus in my anus, nor to put my phallus in an anus. Conversely I can't stop craving contact with the bodies of women.

It's the attraction that isn't a choice, not the behavior. . . . as far as the behavior is concerned here is an experiment for you: try to chose not to act on your sexual attractions, at all, ever, I mean. . . once you've tried this you may sympathize with homosexuals a little more. After this I want you to try having sex with some one of the same sex, then tell me how much of a choice it is. . . . I bet that once you find yourself in the situation you can't even get it up (assuming you're a man)

you are asking people to pretend that they are something they are not FOR YOUR COMFORT, that is so unbelievably selfish that it's rather sickening. Do you actually think about these things or just repeat what you've heard? I'm seriously asking because I can't fathom how on Earth you would arrive at this conclusion. . . unless, and I mean no offense, you are homosexual and choose to pretend that you aren't. . . .

I'm pretty sure he drew his 'boob growing powers' from praising Chester Cheeto.
