The 1611 version of the Bible has been translated from the original languages therefore to say that the Bible is corrupt is not accurate at all. To say that it was written by con artists is also not accurate much history can prove that the Bible is a record of things that really took place.
Rom 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The world has reversed the price tags on things, they’ve made the price of eternal life large and of sin small. To say that you are free to do whatever you want is reversing because the wages of that is death as in depression, discouragement, suicide, death. But the price of everlasting life is very little because Jesus already paid it by His death all you have to do is learn about Him, and live by His word by the help of His spirit (Holy Ghost) to say you are free in sin is not what you think. To be free of sin is wonderful, of course I still sin but what makes me free of it is the blood that Jesus shed at the cross:
-Heb 9:22And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
- Acts 20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
In the O/T the sins of the people were moved by sacrificing animals but the thing was that they had to sacrifice every year for all their past sins because it didn’t free them of it, it would only push them to the next year. The difference with us today is that Jesus was the final sacrifice that had to be made after his death we can be forgiven directly from God because he shed His own blood for us, all we have to do is: Acts 2:37-39 Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Jesus is the truth, if you want to know the truth you must know Jesus John 14: 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
-John 8:32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
And to know Jesus and have faith you must read His word

Woah man. Not everyone believes in the Bible. Quoting from it doesn't have the effect you want.
Also, could you space out your sentences with paragraph form, maybe? I have a hard time reading it.

One thing about the bible that has baffled me and also made me not want that faith, that being how god would with hold KNOWLEDGE. What tree does god tell Adam and Eve not to eat from, the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.
Now being the type who ponders things in life, that little blurp in the bible started to make me think. Why would such a loving and caring god want to with hold knowledge?
It does not make any sense.

I always get the impression that God is wrathful, and filled with malice towards us petty mortals when I hear modern Christian ideals and sermons.

i think this quote from south park a few weeks ago sums it up about whether or not god is loving or not "why would god put that man through so much pain and suffering just to prove a point?" ~kyle from south park in responce to a story that his dad read him about how satan said that the one guy only loved him becasue he gave him so much, so god took it away and killed his family and everything and the man still worshiped him. if u dont understand me then u need to watch the episode

God gave man the chance to decide if he would serve God, notice that every other part of creation serve God every day by doing what God created them to do [animals, insects, trees etc.]. The reason is that He wanted someone to praise Him because they wanted to not just because they had to. So when Adam And Eve were in the Garden God put a tree there He told them that they shouldn’t eat of it but they could still choose to if they wanted the tree was “The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil” and satan tempted them saying that they could be their own gods if they ate of it. God had already that knowledge and could have led them in the good way but they chose to decide for themselves what was good and evil not trusting in God. And you see the result is that “they saw that they were naked and God gave them clothes that they might cover themselves. Don’t try to base your salvation on tings like that though because human nature always wants to find discrepancies to try to discard things. Please don’t feel like I’m attacking everything you say I’m kind of impressed that

Let me tell you why I quote from the bible, it’s to back up what I’m saying. I could say all these things just to try to be interesting but when I quote from the bible to back it up then you can’t really argue it. The word speaks for itself. And yes I will try to space out my posts the only reason I did that is because once I was replying to something and it said not to put spaces so I thought it was like that everywhere, sorry!

Nice to know the bible is all true. As you understand the good book better than me, could you clear up a few things.

1. I want to sell my daughter into slavery (as sanctioned by Exodus 21:7). She says this violates the European Bill of Human Rights. How do I convince her the bible is always right?

2. I know Americans can buy slaves from Mexico and Cananda (Leviticus 25:44) but I live in the United Kingdom. Is Wales actually a neighbouring country, or do I have to buy from France?

3. My neighbour often works on the Sabbath and therefore must be put to death (Exodus 35:2) How should he be killed? Who should do it?
