I wouldn't tie myself to a specific strain of Christianity, since even though I am tecnically a Christian, I beleave the bible was edited by man, and man can get corrupted, thus no bible is accurate, in fact different bibles disagree on certain subjects, thus I will never read the bible as fact, or as a rule, but as a guideline. I beleave in seaking your own connection with God, and then letting him influence you directly. This is a more risky approach since the Devil may disguise himself as God, but since the bible is only INSPIRED by God, it can't be my main source of knowlage of God, and the only way I can be happy with my religeon is by a seaking of self and my connection with God and the cosmos. You may call me a Spiritualistic Christian, or a Philisophical Christian, or whatever. I am currently on a search of self and meaning, thus I untie myself from all bonds in religeon, other than my main core belief: Jesus Christ is my savior. All other bonds are untied, thus I am on a search for the truth.

Damn now that was off topic, sorry, but I had put it somewhere.

They never come to my house. I don't know why. They must not like me.



I am looking for a Buddhist cultural center in my area though. Closest thing we have is the Edgar Cayce center. Sometimes monks come and have translators speak for them.

Consider yourself lucky. And they do like you.. in fact they probably love you.

The only thing worse than stopping you on the street is coming to your house.
One time these two guys who looked about 16 or 17 stopped me on the street. They were wearing suits and they were giving me a really weird look (and I think I was stoned at the time which didn't help) and smiling at me. They were freaking me out. They just wanted to recruit me and I told them I was "Good" and they asked me to recommend a friend so I gave them your name and number. Nah, I told them everyone I knew was already hardcore religious and didn't need any guidance (lies!)
I'm always polite.. everyone has their own beliefs and to each his/her own, but I don't like being preached to and I don't like people trying to tell me that their way is right just because it works for them. I'd don't put down their beliefs so please don't put down my lack of belief.
