I really hope Mccain doesn't become president. He is just as good as Bush and has the same love for war and failed policies. He doesn't know the plight of the poor and doesn't care. He dislikes civil rights and any sort of welfare. The republican is ruining this country but I dont think the democrats can do much for it either. Im mad that Ron Paul, the honest candidate with good ideas, got shut out by the neocon republicans like cheney or rove as examples. This country is doomed because the bill of rights doesnt protect us from terrorism.

He wasn't the best candidate that the GOP could have fielded but then Barak Hussien Obama isn't either. I do believe that its John McCains to lose though. Barak has already divided the country along racial lines with his liberal friends indicating that if you don't vote for Barak then you're a racist. Talk like that will only piss people off and cause them to vote for McCain as an attack against Obama.

If you're going to give this kind of rhetoric that's blatantly false, I don't know why you even bother. When has the Obama camp EVER said that not voting for him is an indicator of racism? He's actually done the opposite, positing that he doesn't want race to be a focal point on his candidacy.

Nice trolling (not really, truly good trolling is subtle and almost believable). Maybe you can next tell us how Barack HUSSEIN (oh em gee!) Obama wants to destroy America from the inside and how he's a closet muslim?

I noticed theres not much support on these forums for McCain I think its because of the fear of :Return of the Bush, I agree though you can't be against gay marriage in todays society not everywheres like Albama.

It's the classic battle between Bush's third term and Jimmy Carters 2nd term.

I think it comes down to their morals; morals which will guide this country in the right direction. We get caught up with the here and now and neglect the future which is completely irresponsible. I believe Obama has good morals, something GWB obviously lacks. McCain has not shown me any reason to trust his morals.

FYI - you should check out what really happened when McCain was a POW.

How do you know what really happened? Were you there??

That's what I thought...

By the way, I'm still waiting for an explanation (or ten) as to why you have 'groaned' at nearly every one of my posts in this thread.

EDIT: If this

Quote:
McCain slowly wrote, "I am a black criminal and I have performed the deeds of an air pirate. I almost died and the Vietnamese people saved my life, thanks to the doctors."

is what you are all bent out of shape about, then I have absolutely nothing good to say to you.

Prisoner of war

That link details the kind of shit McCain went through as a POW, IMO he demonstrated an extraordinary level of integrity in a situation that would push most over the edge.

No were you there?

Watch the video earlier on in the thread. They needed info in his file to close a case on a missing person yet McCain was the only one opposed to opening the file. It passed unanimously in the house and of course McCain had a problem when it reached the senate.

Obama FTW!

We need a president who at least has some original ideas to help move our country away from where it is currently heading. I see a lot of guys saying Obama has some bad ideas, Guess what the president has many advisers and the whole congress to help.

McCain will keep the country where it is, if not make it worse by spending more money we don't have and making permanent the tax cuts for the rich.
