First off, I'm getting really tired of you playing CSI and trying to tell me what I have done or my thought process. Seriously, it's about as fallacious as you can get, and its annoying.

You're claiming I just googled her name and found the first thing that supported me. I don't do that. So that's the end of that.

In reality, I am a news-a-holic and keep tabs on several dozen RSS feeds throughout the day.

I don't support "Jed"... I honestly don't even know much about him, except from what you just posted right now.

To be honest though, he could be a fundraiser for all I care, because I don't support what *he* is saying... because, if you have been to his site, or even the link you are trying to use against me... what Jed does is present videos of people saying things.

He could be a puppy murdering pedophile for all I care as long as he continues to find chunks of news and upload them to youtube for all to see. It's not his wording... its the peoples' wording in the videos.

So with the link you are questioning about me...

Other than the introduction to the video, I don't see much input from Jed.

So you're telling me that if Obama admitted to clubbing baby seals, but Jed posted a video of him admitting to it... we should just disregard the video because it's on Jed's website?

So yeah... I had no idea that Jed is trying to hussle his book, because I don't read his site or his blogs. I only appreciate his work when it comes to digging through hours worth of video to make clips for youtube.

As for the information you posted about the woman, if it is indeed true, then awesome. Like I have said from the start... it appeared as if she was just some fundraiser based on the article, and it's not my job to do the article's research for them. Had Marvin included a direct link to the article, perhaps I could have found some more information on her, but he didn't.

So I stand by my initial reaction that if she was indeed just a fundraiser, who gives a fuck. But if she does have experience, then it would be interesting.

Don't blame me for not trying to prove your point for you.

I also think it's kinda sad that you accuse me of disregarding information I don't like... yet you discount Jed's work because he is a guy that asks for donations (as many sites do, which is why paypal developed a donations button). I'm not sure if you own any websites, but they can easily cost a hundred or so dollars per month... so I don't see anything wrong with him looking for donations or trying to sell a book. Will I buy the book? Nope... but good for him for trying to make money.

All I care about, like I said, is that he continues to post videos which have nothing to do with his input.

You basically are telling me you dislike him because he shows other people what was on TV.

I never claimed anything. I merely asked you how you come up with this crap. You are the one that then tries to deny it.

If you post it, take responsibility for what it says. So what you are saying here:
is that you believe what he says simply because he has edited hours and hours of video, taken the subject matter completely out of context and edited it into a 4 minute video then posted it on the web. You don't care what he does, did or who he hurts in the process. The video must be true because you seen it.

YOU discounted an opinion of a woman because you HEARD she was a fundraiser. YOU claimed thei Jeb character is a legitimate political activist. I merely called you on it, then had to prove my point to you.

Now, if you want to post RELAVENT information, complete with the sources, instead of your stupid half-witted jokes and inunendo, I would be happy to read and COMPREHEND what is written.

I wasn't basing my comment on my personal thoughts of Jed, I was basing it on the information you gave me regarding someone I had no idea who you were talking about. I made that clear in my post, but feel free to distort it.

Freedom user is right. I've been playing along since you're a moderator, sec, and I figured this was ok to do... but I honestly don't feel like getting an infraction for going off topic and I'm sure "sec was doing it" won't be a good enough excuse to avoid such an infraction.

On a serious note though, I would be much less worried about a McCain presidency if he released his physical and mental health records.

It's not so much his age I care about (like I said, I support Ron Paul, and he is a year older than McCain I think) as much as I care about his likelihood of snapping, dying, or making the right judgment in a calm and thought-out demeanor.

We were discussing McCain, or rather the infromation posted about McCain's bid for the Presidency and it's accuracy.

Oh, and Staff usually doesn't moderate threads they participate in. So, lose that "considering you are a Mod" BS and say what you want to say. There are other Moderators who will step in if anything gets too far out of hand.

Listen guys, I haven't made up my mind who I will vote for yet. Ever since Palin has been named as a running mate for McCain, all you guys post is half-assed jokes and rumor. You don't bother to research your material, you don't even care if it is true or not. You will post a video simply because it is a video.

SNL has a skit out that looks amazingly like Sarah Palin. You can't tell the two apart. If you don't research your sources, how in the hell do you know if it is an imitation or the real deal. Just because it is a video, doesn't mean it has not been edited to address an entirely different subject matter than the original.

If you are going to discuss politics, at least make a half-assed effort to be accurate. Post YOUR opinion, not that of the publicity seekers who only crawl out from under their rocks at election time.

You can't discount one person, and take another persons opinion as gospel simply because it is videotaped, without researching both sources. If you are going to post information, take the time to find out who said it and what their background is. Thats all I am asking for here. A little bit of truth and accuracy.

I am looking for accurate information so I can make an informed decision at the polls. If I wanted to base that decision on jokes and rumor, then I would watch late night entertainment TV and Fox News.

So pardon me for getting bent out of shape when you try to justify your unfair actions.
