Thumbs down McCain "Suspends Campaign"
This has become its own issue, and thus worth its own thread.

The goal of this thread is to discuss him suspending his campaign and what it means to you.

My opinion, based on the events, is that it appears McCain attempted to save his ignorant sidekick from a whomping next week by trying to cancel Friday's debate and move it into the VP debate spot next week, then "rescheduling" the vp debate to give Palin more time to cram.

Does anyone know if the debate is still on for friday?

Also, I think Letterman made some great points:



Edit: Apparently the mod's don't think this is worthy of its own thread and would rather cram it into a buffet-style information thread on McCain as a whole...

Why do we even have a "Republican Candidates" thread if we aren't allowed to make new threads for important issues?

We should just have a "McCain/Palin" forum and an "Obama/Biden" forum and a "Misc Politics" forum then.

A: No, it just focuses me. ADHD is like having a bunch of TVs in your head, all running different programs, and having no ability to control them. Marijuana not only appears to give me a remote, it also allows me to shut off all the other TVs sucking up the juice... which makes the TV I'm watching a bit brighter.
