I think in PA you need to be registered either as an Independent or Republican.

I am a Ron Paul 'tin foil hat' dude. He is the best thing to come down the Presidential trail in many a year. You know if his own party wants to lock him down then he can't be all bad!!

I just love to hear some one finally say "Hey guys!! Let's try following the US Constitution for a change!!".

I like his idea of changing the US foreign policy back to Constitut. guidelines & following the US Founder's advice of non-interventionism. Ron gets called an isolationist. The MSM did that to Pat Buchananon a while back. But as usual MSM lied.

Rudy the cross dresser tried to say Ron blamed the USA for 9-11. Rudy lied. Then he got help from Shaun H & Michele Malkin.

At one site some silly lady said "Who supports Ron Paul? Outlaw news! Thats Who!" She said that because creeps like David Duke like Ron's platform. She tried to imply that because some of Ron's supporters are nut jobs. So what? Even nut jobs whanna be free. I post there as Eric420.

Ron would let the States decide on many hot topics like med. MJ. & other topics. He wants to return to State's rights as the Constitution outlines. I like that idea big time.

Please don't worry about 'wasting your vote'. We are like snowflakes. If enough get together a city can be put on hold. There are already a lot of Ron Paul supporters. I say let's join em to put a real patriot in the White House. At long last we have the chance to say "We don't have to take it any more!!" to big over powering centralized war mongering liberty stealing over spending big government.

And in many cases you who are not signed up as Repubs. may have to change to them for a while. The creeps are moving up a lot of the early voting & excluding 3rd party/independent folks from primaries. Ron Paul has them scared to death that the gravy train might end. Ron is the biggest threat to the status quo selling out the USA to the elder Bush's new world order that has come along in my lifetime.

So "let's get together! One more time! They got the guns but we got the numbers...!"...

Paul said the first thing he would accomplish as president would be to bring all the troops home from Iraq. He argued that the United State's current stance on foreign policy has cost the American people nearly a trillion dollars every year.

"We have to find a place that we can get an agreement on where to cut spending," Paul said. "It will give us a stronger national defense, it will make us safer and freer. If we do one thing, [it should be to] change our foreign policy."

Paul also promised not to run the American economy, as problems such as Katrina and the current state of the educational system prove a breakdown in the governmental systems used to control the economy.

"I have full confidence that freedom really works," Paul said. "The greatness of the Constitution was designed to protect liberty. It was designed to restrict the government, not to restrict the people."

He also said the government needs to change the way it deals with foreign powers, which we "have been bombing or subsidizing."

"Just negotiate, just have trade people, let people travel," Paul said. "Let's give up on nation building and policing the world."

Paul called for an end to all sanctions, including those imposed on Iran and Cuba, saying that "sanctions really are an act of war."

Paul said the sanctions on Iran are the same type of sanctions that led up to the war with Iraq.

Paul also spoke on the topic of health care, because "complications in health care [have] come from the government."

"All goods and services are best delivered in the marketplace. And that you don't have to have a government management of [health care]," Paul said.

Paul spoke about his time after medical school when he worked at a church hospital, where no one was turned away due to income.

"Great hospitals were built by the churches [and] the great universities were built by the churches," Paul said.

Paul also focused on government involvement in another type of health care: the illegality of medical marijuana use, which he compared to the prohibition of alcohol.

He said the law has caused more problems than it has solved, and the government doesn't have the right to decide what Americans do to their bodies.

Some students attending the lecture already knew of Paul's message about decreasing the role of government in everyday life.

"I like that he is for small government. I don't think the government should be involved with many of the things it currently is," said Brad Dwyer, junior in pre-computer science.

Other students attended the lecture in an attempt to learn more about the candidate.

"I just wanted to get a better stance on his views of the government. I was originally a conservative, but this election I'm broadening my views based on the war in Iraq," said Andrew Mixdorf, freshman in pre-architecture.

It's great to see the widespread support for Ron Paul.

Is he going to win? Well it's not going to be easy. At the very least we can send a big message by supporting him.

The other candidates are terrible, both republican and democrat. I could never bring myself to vote for them.

Ron Paul rises far above the rest. He is not just a lesser of two evils, he is a good candidate for president. He will have my support for the presidency, even if the media and the republican party will do everything in their power to stop him.

Nobody has the balls to truly stand up against the war, except Ron Paul. Nobody has the balls to truly stand up and propose policies for prosperity in our economy, except Ron Paul. Only Ron Paul stands for the principles of freedom, and no other candidate will get my vote or a dollar of my money.
